Howard Dean: “Republicans Aren’t American!”
Powerline ^ | May 20, 2014 | John Hinderaker

Posted on 05/23/2014 2:16:02 AM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

A terrible sort of insanity has gripped the Democratic Party. On almost a daily basis, when you see the party’s leaders in action, you want to start edging toward the door, murmuring “Nice doggie. Nice doggie.” Today it was Howard Dean (filmed a week ago, but seen on YouTube today). He was addressing a Democratic crowd in Colorado, and went off on a tirade against Republicans. Yes, he really did say that Republicans aren’t American. And that they should stay away from the United States, and go to Russia where they belong. One gets the feeling that if the Democrats ever have the opportunity, they will have us all arrested. Or deported:

(VIDEO-AT-LINK)

This is a very bad thing. We need two functional political parties, and these days the Democrats don’t get over the bar, no matter how low you set it. Their rants are so crazy that it is hard to tell what they are talking about. Dean says that Republicans want to “take away the right to vote.” Huh? Can you name a single Republican who has ever argued that anyone who has a right to vote should have it taken away? I have never heard such an argument made. Republicans do say that ONLY those who have a right to vote should be casting ballots, and that no one should vote more than once. Apparently Dean disagrees with these propositions, but of course he doesn’t tell us why. It is always easier to lie.

Meanwhile, in Washington, D.C., Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi went ahead tonight with their screening of “Koch Brothers Exposed,” a false and malicious attack on Charles and David Koch which we wrote about here and elsewhere. Reid and Pelosi are so low-rent that you feel embarrassed for them whenever you see them. Screening a video that is sheer partisan libel in the United States Capitol–illegally, as best I can tell–is right up their alley.

However, the event was a dismal failure. Our sources tell us that only around 40 people attended, mostly Democratic staffers and reporters. That is a pathetic turnout; apparently Reid and Pelosi couldn’t even get fellow Democrats in the House and Senate to show up, nor did Greenwald’s rich leftist financiers turn out. As for normal citizens, forget it.

Maybe normal people who are not hard-core Democrats are turned off by insanity. I don’t know; I guess we will find out in November.

That’s funny. I feel that way about most politicians, demonRAT and republicRAT.

None of them likes the U.S. Constitution as it was originally constructed. Most of them have deconstructed it and tortured it beyond recognition to justify every sort of moral depravity and fiduciary irresponsibility while eschewing genuine liberty, including the free market.

A pox on all of them.

I'm thinking I could find an example of this. And given the quality of voter, plus the inherent inevitability of government collapse under universal suffrage, I think the idea of conditioning the privilege of the vote (it's not a right, you find no right to vote in the constitution of the US), I'm thinking this should be talked about more. It's the voters who put the unhinged into office. Reid was elected. Pelosi was elected, Jackson Lee was elected, etc. I'm not one who subscribes to "blame the voters," universal suffrage and human nature will always cooperate to favor the candidate with the "vote for me, I'll give you more (money)" message.

I agree with Hindraker's observation. Democrats are not rational.

Each Democrat is nuttier than the next.

So now Republicans aren’t American, but illegal alien “Dreamers” are.

Hokay then.

And let me add that they make unConstitutional laws from which they and their ideological spawn are exempt, while they prosecute all critics with a vigor not seen since the days of Stalin and Mao.

Reid and Pelosi's Capitol Hill screening of “Koch Brothers Exposed,” a false and malicious attack on the brothers Koch, was a dismal failure...mostly Democratic staffers and reporters attended; Reid and Pelosi couldn’t even get fellow Dems or the elite 1% financiers of the left to show up .

OTOH, invoking the name Pelosi sparked a great voter turnout recently. Florida Republicans found the winning campaign theme---voters rushed to the polls when reminded that staying home would get P/osi closer to being majority leader, again.

One can only imagine the Republican voter crush in upcoming Senate races when Harry Reid's name is dropped.

This is just a wild guess.....(smirk) ......but the name of NY Gov Andrew Cuomo also seems to fit the bill.

Exactly. Which party falls in line more with the constitution. Not them.

Well, I'm not a Republican, but, it's obvious way, way, WAY too many people are voting, and unless the honor of the franchise is removed from the parasite class, the country is sunk.

Howard Dean: “Republicans Aren’t American!”

That's funny considering that Howard Dean isn't even sane.

Loony presidential loser Howard Dean went off on a tirade, a-g-a-i-n. Speaking to loyal Democrats, Dean said Republicans aren’t "American," that that they should go to Russia where they belong.

Mmmmm....that musta been some scene as loyal Democrats rose as one, and smartly saluted der leader.

Too bad the pictures didn't make the papers.

The thing is, people, that the Democrats feel, hunger, need, and believe they are on the cusp of turning the United States into a one party state in the model of the way the PRI used to run Mexico. Opposition parties will continue to exist, but will be irrelevant to anything at the federal level.

They really think they are THAT close. And why shouldn’t they? The own the IRS, the Justice Department, Health and Human Services, Education, Environment... virtually all the GS level bureaucrats above 11 or 12...

THEY OWN THE GOVERNMENT and they resent the hell out of the fact that elections are coming that might wrest that away from them.

They will say anything, do anything to prevent that. Howard, Reid, and Pelosi are just the freaky edge of things, but the silent party apparatus is even more scary.

I said this a long time ago, and I will say it again. They are going for all the marbles. They do not intend to lose power again.

If GOP takes Senate and increase in House in 2014, OWS will hit the streets. Reason OWS have been quiet is the left wing of the Dem is in power. Hooded demonstrators appearing in front of CEO homes will occur, property vandalism etc etc will happen.

Howard Dean is the liberal/Democratic/media mindset ......EXPOSED.

He’s just the only one crazy enough to let it all hang out.

Harry Reid and Nancy are the same with a lot more restraint........

When Dubya refused to clean house at DOJ etc I warned about the Clinton stay behinds sowed and thriving in the federal bureaucracy becoming entrenched as the fifth column. They set the cultural rules in the various agencies and controlled the new hires as well as setting policies using the power of the "at the discretion of..." Embedded in the law. The Clinton's were adepts at implementing Alinsky's rules and so we have had all the old Dem operatives popping up again in O's administration.

The barbarians within have demolished the walls of law.

Their soft coup d'etat has removed all the checks and balances established by the founding fathers aided by the media and a weak parochial minded GOP. The Republic is in free fall.
