Rocker-turned-Second Amendment activist Ted Nugent, who’s just taken to the campaign trail for Texas governor hopeful Greg Abbott, has already irked Democrats with his recent slamming of President Obama as a “subhuman mongrel.” Mr. Nugent called Mr. Obama the term during an interview last month with Guns.com. His full statement: “I have obviously failed to galvanize and prod, if not shame enough Americans to be ever vigilant not to let a Chicago communist-raised, communist-educated, communist-nurtured subhuman mongrel like the ACORN community organizer gangster Barack Hussein Obama to weasel his way into the top office of authority in the United States of America,” CNN reported. The statements hit the media especially hard this week because Mr. Nugent was just heading out on the campaign trail with the Texas Republican, Mr. Abbott, who’s hoping to win the GOP stamp of approval for gubernatorial nominee. Democrats point to Mr. Nugent as outlandish, while Mr. Abbott’s main competitor — Democrat governor hopeful Wendy Davis — has called his decision to allow the rocker to campaign for him “repulsive,” CNN reported. A leading staffer for Mr. Abbott, however, said Mr. Nugent draws a crowd. The campaign, for example, only had 100 people who gave a firm commitment to attend one recent event — until Mr. Nugent was announced as a special guest. The number of attendees tripled, the aide told CNN. “On a Tuesday mid-morning at a local restaurant in Denton, Texas, that’s a lot of people,” the aide told CNN.

This one is easy to deal with. All Nugent has to do is say “sure I can think of other words to use rather than mongrel. Obama is commie-looking, terrorist-loving piece of crap”. Just replace mongrel with other degrading term(s). But never apologize and never be afraid to use name-calling. Nugent is not a politican. He can say whatever he wants. But given he is campaigning for someone he may wish to revise and extend his remarks.
Spiritually speaking Ted is correct. I am against vilifying people for their racial makeup, but as a free will agent you can be a subhuman mongrel on the inside : )

Just pointing out that bama said it first. And Ted can point that out. But I do agree with you.
When I condemn the use of such negative language in a campaign, I’m thinking in terms of what kind of language will:
1) Immediately get picked up and branded negatively by the mainstream media,
2) Distract attention unnecessarily from the good qualities of the candidate, and
3) Be used to portray conservatives as racists and haters.
They do this anyway. While I agree with you in many respects, I am tired of having to “walk lightly” so as to not offend anybody. Screw them. People who do not get it by now, after two elections and all the crap going down, are not wanted anyway.
Loose cannons lose wars. No excuses.
At one point that would ring so true but we've never had a president, along with his adorers in his party and the media, that is hell-bent out to destroy the American way of life.

And those are his GOOD qualities!
Whether he is a subhuman or not is still to be seen. If he unleashes the murderous rampage some predict, I think we could accurately call him subhuman.
Nugent might yet be proven a prophet.
He should deny the subhuman mongrel part, but the rest of it he should back fully.

Really? Piss on our brethren so quickly?
There is a line that should not be crossed, and saying "subhuman" directly after "mongrel" is egregiously inflammatory to persons of color in the U.S. There is no crime in being bi-racial.
Besides, think how effective it would be to denounce only one phrase, "mongrel subhuman." It would make all the others that more pointed.
