In what is seen as a major turn around, House Speaker, John Boehner has announced that the House will move to defund Obamacare, while providing funding for the rest of the government, at least on a temporary basis. This will put pressure on Harry Reid and the senate democrats, who have been trying to convince voters that the republicans are trying to shut down the government.
This effectively ends the compromise Boehner had made with the democrats to try to sell his fellow republicans on the idea of funding the unpopular program. The bill that's expected to be offered today, would tie the defunding of Obamacare with the continuing resolution, meant to keep the government running. The bill has about 80 cosponsors, with eleven new ones signing onboard yesterday alone.

I am sure Boehner is tricking us again. I don’t trust the guy an inch.
I hope this is true & I hope this takes up the entire autumn in D.C. This will do 2 things. Deal with Obamacare in some manner, but more important, KILL amnesty.
The State-Run-Media will have their Talking Points from the DNC to try to blame Republicans for all the over-spending they've done, and the need for MORE borrowing to save "the elderly, the poor (aka: Holder's People), and chillun's (the Obamaphones still have to be maintained and provided, too).
Wonderful! I think this bill - which lets the rest of government funding go through but SPECIFICALLY defunds Obamacare - is going to be supported even by some Dems.

Boehner bears much watching... he is not to be trusted.

Boehner is a liar and a democrat operative, bought and paid for.
He already defiantly snarled that obamacare was the law of the land and we all just had to deal with it.
He’s never shown any backbone except when attacking conservatives.
He has some scuzzy thing in the wings waiting.
Republicans (Jeff Sessions, comes to mind) could bring out the Corrupt IRS as the enforcer of the Obamacare mandate, and their track record of partisan obstruction and favoritism. Likewise, the SPENDING that Democrats have been doing on vote-buying to their base has led to Debt levels that the CBO is WARNING are un-sustainable.
The MAIN thrust will be exorcising Obamacare from the Law, with secondary benefits of eliminating useless and over-staffed bureaucracy to run it, PLUS, giving only the CR so that MORE cuts in the waste can be effected BEFORE any Budget is Approved in total.
I think most Republican Grass Roots were willing to rebrand it “BonerCare” if he funded it.
Fear is a good motivator.
I call it “RobertsCare.”
