Do you think liberals ever scratch their head and say “I wonder how this could have gone so wrong”?
Funny and sad video. Sad that Detroit is not alone or the last.

I vote in the nay column on this one. I can't see kicking someone when they are down, I live close enough to go down and enjoy the city, as well as see those that are suffering in ways I cannot fathom and all I can do is say their by the grace of God go I. Many of the Citizens are in such a bad way that it may take divine intervention to help them, we are powerless to do so.

Great job, Steven. Takes guts to do this. I remember your other Detroit video. That was really good too. I recall you exposed some of the teachers union and UAW responsibility for the way Detroit is now. It’s third world now.
Didn’t some union thug sucker punch you in Lansing during the Walker recall?
Keep up the good work, Steven! We need you doing what you’re doing.

Years ago I had to make a delivery around Mack Ave in Detroit; I was afraid to stop to check the map after I got off the big road. I started calling that area Little Beirut (hope I picked the right spelling there).

Too superficial. It would have been better if you dug deeper into what makes Detroit...Detroit!
For example, the city Councilwoman who wears her tiara to budget meetings because she is Queen of all spending.

A city I lived Left it 27 years ago, so I won’t mention it) had a downtown section that was surrounded by abandoned, rundown houses that the city bought and ran the people into ‘public’ housing. They left hundreds of dogs to run loose and terrorize the surrounding downtown area. The city got a grant from the Feds to hire, train and set loose in the area a platoon of Animal Wardens. They spent three years hiring, training and spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on vehicles, tranq guns, veterinarians, etc. During this period a local church sponsored a number of Vietnamese boat people and put them in the better of the abandoned homes where they fixed up the places and began to thrive. When the Wardens were ready to go to work, the City had a big celebration on the news, introduced the politicians involved and promised the problem with the dogs was about to be addressed. They hit the street and a month later a reporter checked with them on what the progress was and interviewed one of the Wardens. ‘How many dogs have you removed from the area?’ asked the reporter. Warden answered (On TV) “What M’fing dogs? Ain’t none.” The Vietnamese had eaten them all.
