Report: 2004 turnout numbers would have elected Romney
The Daily Caller / The Associated Press ^ | April 29, 2013 | Neil Munro, White House Correspondent

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney would have won the presidency if the white and black turnout rates had stayed at their 2004 levels, according to a new analysis of 2012 election.

“The battleground states of Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Florida and Colorado would have tipped in favor of Romney, handing him the presidency if the outcome of other states remained the same,” according to The Associated Press’s summary of research by William Frey, an expert at the Brookings Institution.

Overall turnout declined from 62 percent in 2008 to 58 percent in 2012, Frey reported.

The drop-off reduced the overall turnout by up to 5 million votes, despite a slight increase in the number of eligible white voters, said the AP report....

Hey, you're now lying and you know it.

Show us one time I said principles don't matter, rather than taking issue with what you pretended were principles. How's that principle working out for us btw? Ain't Bambi great to have in the white hut again? Ain't it great how he's just continuuing to destroy us?

Go ahead, prove I said what you claim I did, you gutless pathetic piece of crap.

I should have. I'm the SOB that kept saying that I wouldn't vote for anyone that was anti-gun, pro-abortion, pro-socialized medicine, and pro big government.

And that sums up Romney. I didn't even have to say his name, and people knew who I was talking about.

I vote conservative. Want to win an election? Run someone that is pro-gun, anti-abortion, against socialized medicine, and wants to reduce government.

Nope. People can read your history with you mocking me about principle and how purists are killing the GOP and all your other garbage.

I have no intention of digging to post what anyone interested can se for themselves should they choose to. You mockes people sticking to principle, you mocked purists, you argued with dozens calling us every name in the book. It’s all there for people to see. Choke on it lib. Because you earned every bit of scorn you will ever get.

Purists like you ARE killing the GOP, as is the stupidity of the GOPe. Conservatives like Cruz are saving it.

You have no interest in digging for a post, because you know you are lying. But that's just who you've become, a worthless, lying piece of garbage, worthy of mocking.

Go ahead, tell us why Bambi being reelected was a good thing one more time.......

Jackass.

I say people should go read your history. I have nothing to hide. Before and after the election. It shows what you really are.

Rant more. It helps you sound believable...no really. Call me names too and maybe do cartwheels.

You own it Lake. As I said. you earned the scorn. Now go tell someone who cares what you think. I don’t. My point is made. I’ll clean up the mess once your tantrum is over.

Here at post #230 you castigate "purists" that got Obama elected.

You want my vote? Run a conservative.

I'll proudly own the purist label.

I'm pure on abortion. Killing babies is wrong. I don't support those that support killing babies.

I'm pure on the 2nd Amendment. I believe "Shall not be infringed" means exactly that.

I'm pure on limited government, and won't support anyone that wants to grow government.

I'm a conservative. Not a Republican.

And I'll castigate them any time I want because they deserve it.

Norm was asked to find a post that showed me saying I didn't believe in principles. Ansel was asked to find a post showing I was "devoted to Bishop Romney">, they couldn't, maybe you can now that you're searching (bwahahahaha).

You want to play, deal with what's asked. And I don't want your vote.....

You're still not on my list. I won't likely engage you again unless you actually have something useful (or particularly stupid) to say.

You do have something to hide, you claimed I said I didn't believe in principles. You lied, like the piece of trash you've become, and you can't prove it because it's not true. So, you just say to check my history.......you're laughable and everyone knows it, and anyone who reads this knows you're simply lying.

Now have a good day Norm, I've really got to go now.

It's been fun mocking someone who truly deserves it.

Since I'm a purist, and you are castigating 'purists', you need to be called on it.

I know you don't like being confronted with the truth about abortion, guns, and big government that the last GOP candidate supported. But he did, and he didn't get a vote from me.

I'll stand by my principles and my 'purity' and vote conservative. Like Cruz is doing. The one I helped get elected.

Well Johnny, that was pretty stupid, so I'll comment. I love Ted cruz and what he's doing, and it's likely that I helped him get elected more than you did.

S'matter you didn't find me saying I didn't believe in principles, or find me being "devoted to Bishop Romney"?

Thats the difference between you. One of you is a conservative. The other trashes them. We see on this very thread he mocks purists and of course the opposite of purity is corruption. Conservatism by its very name is about the evil and dreaded purity. So logic dictates he prefers corruption. Which would be consistent with his comments.

And the guy is proud of it. Thats the best part.

No tantrum, just reminding you and everyone else here what a piece of moronic lying garbage you've become.

I find it kind of sad.

Denigrating 'purists' that insist on no abortions, no gun control and no big government IS saying you don't believe (or at least hold to) principles.

Easy to believe something, harder to actually pull the trigger and live with the results.

I never said anything about your purported devotion to bishop romnney. But you do seem very devoted to GOP uber alles. Even if it takes voting for a yankee liberal.

Mitt Romney was no Ronald Reagan. Hell, Mitt wasn't even a match for JFK.

Sure I voted for Reagan.

He didn't have the extensive record of being against the things I'm for. And that was many, many years ago. Before the new media brought forward things candidates would rather disappear.
