That's okay, Dick's alter egos at the state level "don't yet have the votes" for gay marriage... and haven't been able to get them for four months despite a veto proof majority in both houses of the Illinois legislature. In fact, the RATs don't seem to have the votes for much of their "inevitable" socialist legislation. Funny how that turns out.

On today's MJ Mike Allen from politico reported that McConnell plans on loading down the Senate Gun BG check bill with poison pill amendments designed to get the Senate Dems to ask Reid to pull the bill rather than have to vote on it, plus there are some vunerable Dems in the Senate worried about 2014.

He said the chances of a background check bill passing is 40% (<50%) even though libs were celebrating last weeks vote to get it on the floor. Morning Joe had a fit over that, keeps repeating how Republicans will lose in 2014 if they dont support Obama's gun control.

Allen said that immigration has a much higher 60% chance of passing Senate, thanks to Rubio.
