While participating in a panel discussion Sunday on ABCs This Week, President George W. Bushs former chief strategist Matthew Dowd continued the senseless attacks on former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin by political elitists on the right .
Dowd was critiquing the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) for not inviting New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R), while welcoming Palin, who he said wasnt competent enough to keep a Fox News contract, according to The Raw Story.
CPAC, to me, has totally diminished its credibility as an organization, Dowd said. And you invite Sarah Palin, who wasnt competent enough to keep a Fox News contract? But shes invited to CPAC meeting?
Palin has been critical of the Bush family in the past. In an appearance on the Laura Ingraham radio show in November 2010, Palin referred to George H.W. and Barbara Bush as blue bloods who were trying to pick and choose the 2012 Republican presidential nominee for president....

It’s not gone without my notice that the vast majority of these establishment GOP Palin-bashers are big-time pro-homo marriage supporters.
Sarah Palin supporters need to hush - Palin is irrelevant. If you doubt that opinion, just read the thousands of articles every day for the past four years on just how irrelevant she is. If we can’t trust the mainstream media to decide what’s best for conservatives, who can we trust?
That is very well put Pollster, I am going to use that on the next Sarah Palin Ping that involves some Republican Hate Diatribe Thread.
Who said I don’t like Ted Cruz? I loved what he did to Eric Holder today. Rand Paul is giving a great speech during his filibuster. And who says I don’t fully support the tea party?
Thats where the cult of Sarah Palin truly loses me. Anyone who criticizes her is accused of conservative heresy. I admire what she did in Alaska. But, quite frankly, I think anything beyond that would prove her to be in over her head. And describing her as the “most powerful Republican?” Not buying it. And she’s hardly the mother of the Tea Party.
You couldn’t throw a rock in the Bush, Romney or McCain camps without hitting a homosexual, including the individual you mentioned. It explains quite a bit, doesn’t it?
Politicians who put the interest of their country over the interest of themselves, and who don’t view their seat as a birthright.
I think anyone who has hung around for 30+ years has overstayed their welcome. But thats just me.
"However, if a politician seeks office, I expect them to at least hang around for the whole term."
However, I suspect something else. Are you sure there isn't some latent misogyny lurking in your psyche?
I would suspect that you have a problem understanding nuance. For instance, there are a lot of people who think you’re out to lunch on Palin who are not part of the “Kool Aid” crowd, the cultist. You seem to think everyone is HG or BD or a Palin cultist. These nuanced differences are a bridge too far for some folks.
You also seem to have a problem with exceptions to the rule, for example, you apparently think that resigning office under any circumstances falls under the kindergarten or middle school yard “quitter” charge. In some cases it would, but in Palin’s case, her decision has proven fabulously correct on all counts. That is, all counts but the kangeroo court of hgunner and big dad.
The ironic, or maybe moronic thing about it is this: by bigdaddy’s own definition, putting the interest of the country over the politician - he should celebrate Palin’s resignation....because that is exactly what she did.
And yet, he drones on with the same tired cliches he’s spouted since 09.
HAHA. Yeah, I hate women. THAT’s why i’m no Palin fan. You caught me.
And Palin couldn’t hold a candle to Margaret Thatcher. I suspect the iron lady would have never quit.
My photobucket Sarah Palin folder is named SP45. :)
I wonder what made me do that then.
If you like Ted Cruz, then you know that Palin put him in the Senate according to him, you should know that Palin played a solid role with Rand Paul defeating Trey Grayson, Palin gave us our only Senate seat pickup in Romney’s debacle of 2012, when he blew a sure deal by snubbing Palin and the tea party, and being a whack case idiot, Palin never endorsed Romney.
There is no conservative leader or republican leader with more national power than Palin, she is the biggest endorsement in history, she has been shaping the GOP for more than 4 years, well before she created a climate for the tea party in late 2008 and early 2009 when she was standing alone against the left and the media, and winning.
It wasn’t “a” frivolous lawsuit. It was over $600,000 worth of frivolous lawsuits. that’s money she owed he attorneys that she didn’t have.
I’d tell you to try to pay attention, but I know from your history here that you will never let mere facts get in the way of your Palin Derangement Syndrome.

So which politicians do you like? Do they have names or are they just imaginary?
Trollin’ trollin’ trollin’...
Interesting statement. I would say that is an unclaimed title, for now. But, behind the scenes and out of the light? She's helping to put the right people in positions where they can make a difference. FU Karl Rove.
That sort of effort and smart use of her influence tells me a lot about her and why they fear her. She has the workingman's hero vibe and a street savvy for the political games. I'm glad she didn't re-up with Fox.
Then the idea (which I am not totally convinced) that you are a latent misogynist is false. Then that tells me you are in a vacuum when you spew the “Sarah Palin is a quitter” blather. That is the jejune stuff tossed out by the garbage can full on the Demonwit sites. And, when one lives in that environment, they live in a vacuum as noxious on the mind as a rotting fish on a dinner plate.
Well thank you very much sir.
I can go on for pages with my case against homo marriage. It is lazy negligence that the GOP has not taken a stand against homosexuality and the bogus homo marriage.
