Former Bush aide slams Sarah Palin as not ‘competent enough’ for Fox News

While participating in a panel discussion Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” President George W. Bush’s former chief strategist Matthew Dowd continued the senseless attacks on former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin by political elitists on the right .

Dowd was critiquing the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) for not inviting New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R), while welcoming Palin, who he said “wasn’t competent enough to keep a Fox News contract,” according to The Raw Story.

“CPAC, to me, has totally diminished its credibility as an organization,” Dowd said. “And you invite Sarah Palin, who wasn’t competent enough to keep a Fox News contract? But she’s invited to CPAC meeting?”

Palin has been critical of the Bush family in the past. In an appearance on the Laura Ingraham radio show in November 2010, Palin referred to George H.W. and Barbara Bush as “blue bloods” who were trying to “pick and choose” the 2012 Republican presidential nominee for president....

Hey, Matthew Dowd...prove her wrong instead of making stupid assertions, asshole!

I’ll tell you who’s not competent enough for Fox News... Carl Rove. I have added him to the list of Beckel, Coombs and others who force me to turn the channel when they appear on the TV. Rove can take his childish whiteboard and marking pens and move over to CNN where he belongs.

Well, guys, it’s MY graphic and humblegunner is my friend. If you let him pull your chain, that’s on you. The subject is Sarah. If she steps in, I will rock and roll. If she doesn’t, I see some good guys waiting in the wings...unlike this past election...and I think Sarah probably sees them too. So it’s really up to her, isn’t it?

Actually, he doesn't pull my chain at all, but he does have a searing disdain for Palin, makes sure to come on every one of her threads to insult her and anyone who likes or defends her in any way at all. He does it in ways that are childish, dumb, and churlish.

For that reason, I pull his chain. I did it to pissant as well, and I'm happy I did as he greatly deserved it.

Sorry about YOUR graphic, I was just adding what appears to be the obvious........

Matthew Dowd was a Texas Democrat, who for unknown reasons appealed to George Bush and Dowd became his advisor.

In January 2011, after Obama’s “shellacking” in the congressional election of 2010, he met with Dowd to find out how he could regain the power he had lost. Naturally, Dowd was happy to help.

Where did anyone get the idea that Dowd was a Republican? He is a mole for the Democrats, and he hates Sarah Palin, one of the very few politicians with principles.

Gov Palin gave up her Governorship because she had accomplished all her promises and did not want to be a lame duck drain on the nation — PDs’ers will never understand this

If she were washed-up and inconsequential, they'd just ignore her. The fact that they cannot tells its own story.

Agreed.
