One good thing about President Obama’s re-election: It seems to have prompted some sober thinking by Republican Party leaders and allies. Oh sure, there’s been some loose talk of secession, but mostly what you’ve found is top GOP leaders trying to figure out how to broaden the GOP’s appeal and shed its reputation for anti-intellectualism while staying true to their conservative values. This is a good thing.
One sure way for Republicans to blow it: If Sarah Palin runs for president.
You might’ve thought Palin’s political career pretty much ended when she decided not to run for president against a week GOP primary field in 2012. Her supporters were certainly eager to see her run, and the other candidates were clearly terrified that she’d jump in. But she stayed out, made frequent appearances on Fox News, and that seemed that.
Until Sunday, that is, when conservative writer Charlotte Allen took to the pages of the Los Angeles Times and urged Palin to run in 2016.
Why? Well, because unlike boring old Mitt Romney, apparently, Sarah Palin won’t try to appeal to voters on the basis of issues. She’s a good old-fashioned demagogue. She’ll appeal to their hearts, and their penises...

Well, if a leftist libtard advises the Republicans not to nominate Sarah Palin for President, you can be sure of at least one thing.
His job is to ensure that the GOP never wins another election. Therefore, he must fear that Sarah Palin is the one candidate likeliest to bring on that terrible result.

Somebody please answer a question. Several years ago, some joker wrote a book claiming Palin slept with then college basketball star Glenn Robinson while she was an Alaskan TV reporter and Robinson was in Alaska for a tournament. Many here said Sarah was going to sue the pants off the guy. Did she sue him? If not, why not?

Who knows, but how is this question even applicable to the current conversation? No matter what the final dissolution of that question was, the left will just invent a thousand more derogatory allegations about Palin's past and character, should she even think of running for president in 2016.
As should be painfully obvious, the left is already playing prevent defense against any ambitions she might have for the next presidential election. She remains their greatest fear.
If it’s true, so what? She was single, right? What is that against cocaine use, marijauna dealing, homosexuality, terrorist sponsors, ineligibility and etc. And if it’s not true, why bring attention to the story with a messy lawsuit? The Dems would dig up dirt on Mother Theresa if she ran aginst them. And people here would cheer them on.
