I know that some freepers are reluctant to vote for Romney because he's not conservative enough. Few of us wanted him to be the Republican nominee, and for good reason. This is why I'm voting Libertarian this year. I know the mantra, a vote for Gary Johnson is a vote for Obama, but that's not true in deep blue states like mine (New York). I propose that conservatives in deep blue states agree to vote 3rd party. In return, conservatives in toss up states can hold their noses while voting for Romney.
Gary Johnson is a communist!
Pray for America
Since the hurricane, NY may not be the deep blue state it was.
I’d prefer folks pull the lever for the Constitution Party candidate but I like the general idea. I live in Pennsylvania and despite what 0’s friends are saying, I think it’s going to be close here so we’re voting Romney.
For me in Wisconsin I only have to hold one nostril since Romney put Paul Ryan on the ticket.
Other than that I’m only doing the Romney vote because getting the Republic out of the clutches of this marxist regime is the most important goal.
Back in January I said there was not a dime’s worth of difference between Obama and Mitt. Today I am holding on to that 9cents as our only hope. There is no other choice.
WTF? I think this is a psy-ops troll post.
It could be that Romney takes some surprise blue states.Perhaps NJ? Maybe, just maybe NY?
A vote for anyone else is wasted, and worse.
Vote and vote Romney/Ryan. Remember, they can’t cheat if we win big.
“I am more concerned about evangelicals who are sitting this out”
For every one not voting for Mitt there are 10 Catholics who are voting for Mitt.
I Am a Evangelical and I do have profound issues with the church founded by Joesph Smith.
I Am a Constitutionalist Conservative.
I have voted For Romney but more correclty I Voted Against Obama.
Any vote not for Romney is a vote for Obama for almost all intents and purposes
A vote for anyone but Romeny = a vote for Obama.
I appreciate your concerns but we really can’t afford four more years of Obama. Nothing will be left of our country.
“I propose that conservatives in deep blue states agree to vote 3rd party.”
Choosing to give Obama a vote is your choice. Not a smart one, but your choice.
yu handled this negotiation brilliantly. Draw up the paperwork, get everyone together in the same room, and we can all sign on the dotted line.
And when/if Obama wins re-election YOU, in my opinion, are partly responsible. And, yes you ARE partially responsible, you had a chance to change things but stubbornly refused like a 3 year old. Again, this is just my opinion so just ignore it. =)
Romney might not be as conservative as I would like to see but I still voted enthusiastically for him over the Marxist. I didn’t even consider Johnson.
I live in Minnesota, where no votes that counted have gone to a Republican since ‘72. I wouldn’t worry about voting my conscience unless Obama won the state bu a single vote. But that’s not only highly unlikely; it’s impossible. If the margin is within a few hundred they’ll simply cheat. So no worries.
I am not now, nor have I ever been, a Romney supporter.
But I have every intention of voting for Romney and all of the downticket Republicans this national election cycle.
That said, I maintain that conservatives must keep a watchful eye on a President Romney as he believes in governing by consensus. This was what he did in Massachusetts, and conservatives got the worst of those deals.
Governing by consensus is fine when everyone comes together with some semblance of morality. That is not be the case when compromising with the evil of liberal Democrats, Socialists, Communists or Progressives.
