The left is already beginning to point fingers at those they believe are responsible for what is shaping up to be a decisive rout in the making for President Obama and the Democrats on Election Day.
The New York Times is among the first out of the blame gate, with an article by Matt Bai taking Bill Clinton to task. Clinton, according to Bai, has foolishly steered the Obama campaign to switch its more promising strategy of attacking Mitt Romney as a serial flip-flopper (in the vein of John Kerry) to one striving to paint him as a mean, evil conservative, à la Ebenezer Scrooge.
That strategy went kaput once Romney proved himself to be a decent, likeable guy in the first debate. C'est la vie.
Beating the Times to the punch, though, have been blacks who for years have insisted that any and all criticisms of Obama are based solely on nothing but the color of his skin -- the culmination of which occurred in the aftermath of his sorry-@$$ performance in the first debate against Romney, when the president's electoral fortune began its steady, inexorable decline.
To blacks, it had nothing to do with Obama's serial "ahs" and "ums" and dull, slow-witted responses to Romney. No, it was because the president had to play it safe for fear that if he didn't, he would be considered an "angry black man" to white, racist-inclined voters. This from Georgetown University Professor Michael Eric Dyson and most other blacks.
I'm declaring myself an "angry black man," but I'm not afraid to let everyone know why. I'm angry that four years after America elected its first "black" president, the unemployment rate remains the highest in the black community at 14.1 percent...

Romney will win by a landslide...and then Romney will be President. Obama will be gone but we will still have a liberal running the show. Great! Our demise, while still insured, will be delayed.
I still remember the articles about Romney promising Planned Parenthood and gay rights groups that his aim as President was to moderate the views of the GOP. That was back in 2003 or 2004 or something.
I doubt he has changed much.
He’s not black , he’s biracial
Democrats are racists , so he may lose because of his race.
After Obama loses, will we still be racist?
Obozo does have a skin problem, it is to thin.
Maybe, but there is a universe of difference between the hateful arrogant and destructive agenda of people like Obama and Jarrett and an American like Romney. I may not agree with Romney on many things, but I am confident that he is an American.
I find it amazing that a group of conservatives like those found at FreeRepublic are willing to enthusiastically support a liberal like Romney. Yes, he is far better than Obama, but who isn’t? Romney is left of JFK. Sorry, I’m unwilling to fool myself to that degree. Keep your powder dry, you’re going to need it.
Romney isn’t as bad as Obama. We’re not enthusiastically supporting Romney, but enthusiastically firing Obama.
Maybe...but be careful of what you hope for.
If the left somehow steals this election we each must decide if we are willing to live as subjects of a dictatorship for that is what it is destined to become.
If we decide to resist we will ONLY have the option to become renegades, outlaws, revolutionaries.
Most will just try to exist as subjects of a slave state because few will have the desire to fight back.
Some will fight knowing that they will most likely die or/or live in the shadows of a dissolving society.
As for myself I will melt into the mountains and fight until I die of old age, disease, a bullet, grenade or bomb.
Some of us have no desire to EVER submit.
I fervently hope (and expect) that enough like minded people will join together and help inspire yet more people to eventually resolve to resist.
But then again - I may just end up as a disillusioned corpse but at least I will be free.
PS. I also realize that the government monitors all emails and this posting will target me for arrest and imprisonment. Our government has much to much power and their tentacles reach into our lives in so many ways that we really have no way to resist should they assume ultimate power and THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT A SECOND OBAMA ADMINISTRATION WILL BECOME.
Romney was not my pick, just as he wasn’t the pick of a lot of people here. My bet is they feel the same as I do, vote against Obama and pray that Romney can slow down or stop the destruction of this country. We know what another four years of Obama would bring. He must be stopped.
No argument there. I’m just pointing out that what we consider winning is actually losing just a little less.
Could you please provide a list of those FReepers who supported Romney throughout the Republican Primaries?
I cannot recall seeing a one, but it is obvious you are privy to information unavailable to me.
Since we are at the point where either Obama or Romney will be the next POTUS, I’m not sure what your accusations against those here who understand REALITY will accomplish.
LOL, yep. Although he may surprise us all.
whatever
So were “we” wrong then or are “we” wrong now?
He is going to lose because he is a lazy, lying, pice of shit.
