Ann Romney, wife of Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, spoke to the Republican National Convention about the former Massachusetts governor not as a politician, but as a husband and father.
She told the crowd and a prime-time audience about their 43-year marriage, one of real struggles and experiences, including her battles with multiple sclerosis and breast cancer, and nothing of the storybook tale that people imagine. Ann Romney also talked about his role as a father to five sons, and grandfather to 18 grand-kids
The GOP hoped her speech would help undecided and other voters (especially women) better relate to Mitt Romney as an everyday man instead of a corporate and political insider...

Ann Romney proves Mitt has a lot better taste than Barack!
Nope. Not one iota. I liked her to be sure, but that doesn’t change Romney’s crusade to destroy conservatism.
No
All but the ABR crowd on here, and the far moonbat left / MSM would have to admit her speech was awesome and likely gave Mitt a nice boost.
Didn’t really change my view of Mitt, although I will vote for him. But it certainly changed my view of Ann. The kind of wife any man should be exceedingly proud to have.
She was fantastic! I’m already voting for Romney but my Democrat sister says she’s on board now. +1
Grassely was on FOX news tonight, talking about the polls. He explained that in 2008, Iowa had thousands more Democrats than Republicans and now there are more Republicans than Democrats, not in the same proportions, but still a huge difference. He said that it was the same all over the country.
Politics is secular.
Mormons, as a group are profoundly Conservative. pro-family, pro- industry ( both personal and collective)- they take care of their own, etc.
They are heretics with respect to Christendom.
Most “Christian” denominations are heretical these days too, what with homosexuality and ordaining women...
This is not an exercise in faith. The Cross and the Flag parted company aways back. This is about strengthening the things that remain, IMHO.
That’s where they were aiming, from what I can tell.
ABSOLUTELY!
I used to believe he was a lying, slimy, shallow weasel of a statist RINO empty-suit.
I now believe he is a lying, slimy, shallow weasel of a statist RINO empty-suit with a wife who can deliver a reasonably competent speech.
Hank
Impressive.
She’s more exciting than he is. Probably more conservative too, though that isn’t saying much.
” The kind of wife any man should be exceedingly proud to have.”
Wellllllllll...following that logic......Mitt has that kind of wife......your next thought just HAS to be “maybe there’s more to this guy than meets the eye.” Well, doesn’t have to be, but pretty hard to avoid it.
I have several Democrats in my family with only one that would still vote for the Kenyan (if she was registered). She’s 82, watches only CNN and I think she still has white guilt. If you heard her talk about the illegals and taxes you would think she was a republican. I leave her alone because she’s old, she’s not going to vote and she’s the only mother I have.
To the headline: why would it.
Indeed.
So, maybe Isaac isn’t being all that bad to them, if they have the time to run this poll.
I gotta say, Hubby who likes nobody, LOVED Chris Christie. He actually said: wow, he’s OUR governor!
I saw Christie speak live at a little campaign rally last year (haha, it actually was a Little campaign rally, as it was for Anna Little) and he was by far the best speaker I’ve ever heard.
Juan Williams, even, actually said it: he makes you feel like he is speaking directly to you, personally. It’s really a great gift. He must be really good in the Courtroom.
I guess that’s why it’s called a poll.
