Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus framed the presidential election as a moral "battle for the freedom in this country" in a fiery speech Friday to the Faith and Freedom Coalition.
Priebus, not known as a bomb-thrower, said the country is facing a stark choice in November between President Obama and Mitt Romney.
"It's time to end the Barack Obama presidency before this presidency ends our way of life," he said to loud cheers from the audience of religious right leaders and supporters.
"We have to win this election, or we're going to lose this country, Priebus said. Collectivism will replace individualism, government agencies will replace free enterprise and the dreams of Obama will replace the vision of our Founding Fathers."
The RNC chairman said Obama is not "your daddy's Democrat" like John F. Kennedy or Bill Clinton, and would "rather bow to foreign leaders than stand up for America's greatness."
He also compared the battle between Obama and Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney to the battle for freedom fought in World War II.
"We're in a battle for freedom in this country," he said, later ending his speech with an exhortation to beat Obama or else.
"Elect Mitt Romney, fire Barack Obama and save America," he said.
Romney is not my guy either..but I believe he is far better than Obamanation.
Hey, Obama loves Kenya!
Pick your plantation and do as you’re told.
The RNC has nobody to blame but itself.
I don’t know anyone who voted for Romney in the primary.
I voted for Newt after he had endorsed Romney.
I’ll be voting for the Republican nominee in November however.
This shocking column is by Eleanor clift, of all people!..Looks like Obama is losing previous independent voters.
Pass it on to your Vet friends
Cutting the Military

Hubby served 20 years started as an E1 retired as a Senior Chief E8, and if not for a bad auto accident would have made E9.
I’ve been reading the Navy Times head lines...and those who passed their Evals this year will not be promoted. And 0 is going after the Mid Ranks in all branches, instead of retiring the career invested 30-40 year people who do not do the training or running of the day to day operations of the Military.
This latest is a JOINT effort by both parties.
Ah... we lost this country years ago, and no one can get it back. At least not without a lot of blood in the streets.
Just figured that out now, didja?
The RNC have zero credibility with me. If there ever was a time for Reagan’s “bold colors,” it’s now...and the Republican establishment are pushing the weakest, wimpiest, Demopublican/RINO I’ve ever seen.
I’m not listening to anything the RNC have to say.
If both sides run on taking the country back then maybe it has been lost.
Then publicly out the fraud and his whole criminal cabal (US attorney general, czars, aides, etc) and call for justice. These repubs have no idea to the extent these radcials will try to remain in power.
Those who count the votes control elections...
This is a stunning testament to the changing political landscape.
I wish someone would produce a documentary illustrating the growing “free market” trends in communist countries and the decline of “free markets” in America and Europe as Socialism and nanny-state-ism grows.
We have a choice.
1. The lesser of two evils
2. Stay at Home
3. waste your vote on someone who cannot win.
Any of these three choices put Obama back in the White House.
“No Taxation without Representation.”
And no representation without taxation. Why should those riding the government gravy train without having to pay anything to ride be allowed to tell us how to run the railroad?
STOP THIS SH#T NOW, we have our nominee, get on board or vote for Obama, and get it done!
Obama wins, Civil War in two years. The USA will no longer be a single nation but break up into two or three. It will be a bankrupt nation living on past glory only.
“STOP THIS SH#T NOW, we have our nominee, get on board or vote for Obama, and get it done!”
I’m there.
