Bristol Palin believes President Barack Obama should call her to apologize for the comments made about her by Bill Maher just as he called Sandra Fluke about the comments made about the law student by Rush Limbaugh, according to ABC News.
Palin has blogged about how the cases are similar, but the president is not calling her since she is a Republican and Maher made a $1 million contribution to the Democrat-run super PAC. As a political scientist, I have to applaud Palin for setting up a perfect catch-22 for the president.
Palin used her blog to point out how President Obama has not made statements about what was said about her by Maher but condemned Limbaugh for what he said about Fluke. She pointed out how the president made comments condemning the media during the last election for going after her but has stayed silent on this issue. She has taken herself from being mentioned in this controversy to being a player in it.
Due to Palin's blog, the ball is in President Obama's court. If he calls her, it will appear to be due to the pressure by the right to treat her the same way he treated Fluke. The former vice-presidential candidate's daughter made a statement in her blog about the president being the president of all Americans and not just Democrats....

Bristol has matured so much, SO proud of her! Her blog is awesome everyone should check it out. The second Sarah Palin posted the blog on her twitter page the blog’s server crashed, now THAT is the power of Palin..the liberal whackos have posted their idiocy of course, love how they show their hypocrisy by making excuses for what Maher said, such as “Well how about what Willow said on twitter” or “Your Mom called Obama a terrorist” don’t ya love how liberals justify the garbage that comes out of their mouth. I responded to one of them saying “And what has Piper Palin, Trig Palin, or Track Palin ever said that offended you?” so far no response, Im not expecting one either

The natives, and especially the wealthier ones, are getting a little restless, which is showing up in the rate at which donations are coming in from the big players. Worse, the campaign committee for the re-election of the incumbent is running at a negative cash flow at the moment, as the overhead built into the campaign staff is sucking out money at a greater rate than it is being replenished.
Kind of like the way he has been running the country. Couldn’t wish it on a better or more deserving individual.

I don’t think he would get mileage out of the exposure of leftist hypocrisy.
The question Obama faces is which option brings him the least harm.
He can’t answer and call her...but by not doing so he reveals to all the hypocracy and dis-engenousness of his position that we already know is his hallmark.
Now millions of others are seeing it in a way that cannot be ignored or denied.

The two cases are not similar as Bill Mahr had not right whatsoever to say anything about Bristol while Rush Limbaugh was fully within his rights and absolutly correct to call Sandra Fluke a slut.
