On the tail of Game Changes premiere on HBO, former McCain/Palin adviser Nicolle Wallace, prominently featured in the film, visited Rachel Maddow tonight to expand upon the lessons of the 2008 campaign, and made clear that she felt fairly guilty about working to make someone fundamentally unprepared and unsuited for the job the Vice President of the United States.
Wallace noted that she was still in shock as to how close we came to having somebody a heartbeat away from the presidency so fundamentally unprepared and unsuited for the job, adding that, while she thought tossing around the term PTSD lightly was disrespectful, for a staffer, it was the most traumatic experience to realize that they were working on behalf of somebody who its an open question whether she is fit to serve, I certainly dont think she was.
Maddow noted that the film itself seemed to be changing the Washington narrative about Palin to be that the choice of Palin was a disaster I dont think that was the consensus before, which led Wallace to address the criticism of her and other staffers as turncoats for divulging the secrets of the campaign. When loyalty and honesty collide, she argued, she sided with honesty, particular given how fundamentally off-base it was to pick someone who we knew nothing about.
Ultimately, Wallace argued, the impact Palin had on campaigns would be felt in both parties for a long time: both parties will forever avoid a Palin choice she changed the equation forever. She added she could see the conversations impacted by her for any possible appointments, since there are very few opportunities in politics to reshuffle the deck, but few have ended in such failure.

Wallace is never asked for her opinion about anything and the libs only ask her about Palin because they know what she will spew!...and her 15 minutes are about up.
Mark Levin totally exposed this piece of human debris Wallace and Steve Schmidt as the ones behind the trashing of Palin since day one. They are now earning their meal ticket with this crap of slamming Palin unmercilessly. They both need to be exposed for the vermin they are. They are the embodiment of inside the beltway loser hacks.
Both are MSNBC whores as well.
Who would have been a better VP candidate?
Bump
I don’t think McCain ever wanted to be President. He just wanted the face time and media adulation of losing to the first “black” President.
Establishment Republicans line up to get the Palin-approved stamp from the MSM, but how often do they give the first Communist President the same treatment? Obama is less of a threat than a POTENTIAL Pres? Does anyone give creedence to these asswipes anymore? It’s like they believe that a President has to know some magical trigonimetric formula to figure out the Executive Branch of government. Bullcrap. Obama was and remains a rank amateur at performing the basic functions of the Presidency. His gaffes are legion at this point, and his decisions have led us to the brink.
Fear her they must, for their demise is her only goal.
You might write some captions under the pictures you post for us folks that never watch TV so we would know who they are. Who are these people you show pictures of? You had time to write a lot of text at the top, it would be easy to put a name under the picture.
Nicolle Devenish Wallace:

I looked up her history a few years ago; it is enlightening.
Screw her.
In my opinion, Palin did not cost McCain the election. She may have been too green, but she didn’t that many mistakes.
The moment, I think, that cost McCain the election was when he lied to Letterman to do a preferred interview. When he was shown to be an outright liar, when Letterman filmed McCain getting makeup on to do a Couric interview, when he was supposed to doing an interview with Letterman, his campaign was over, imo.
That was not the fault of Palin.
Well... the bald dude in Steve Schmidt bashing Palin as he routinly does on MSNBC and the dizzy broad laughing it up on MSNBC after slamming Paling for the millionth time is Nicole Wallace. Both these RINO hack losers are cashing in on this movie about Palin.
You need anymore proof people! You need any more proof that the McCain campaign was a bunch of phony BS from the start. Here you have Wallace, who has said repeatedly on MSNBC that she did NOT vote for McCain, she voted for Obama..and why did she vote for Obama, because she and Schmidt were upset that McCain did not pick Romney to be VP..so they were pulling for Obama, from DAY ONE, so that Romney would have the best chance of winning the nomination in 2012..and that is why I will NEVER vote for Romney, because you are who you associate with, and Romney associates with jackasses..yeah yeah, I know, we want Obama gone, I want Obama gone too, but to replace him with this schmuck who associates with these two scum bags forget it. Wake up GOP and get rid of these clowns!
Nicolle is a poophead.
I wonder of she and her sidekick Steve Shitz were actually liberal plants in the McCain campaign.
Thank you very much. The woman is pretty, surprising she so crazy
Hundreds of thousands of us voted for the McCain/Palin ticket because Sarah was on it in spite of McCain being on th ticket.
I believe you.
As I said, I don’t think she was a factor. The fact that the liberal media keeps bringing her name is an indication of how dangerous she is to them.
Both Nicolle Wallace and Steve Schmidt are working to destroy Sarah Palin’s credibility before the Republicans get their nominee. That way she will not have her huge popularity to use against Obama and any promotion of the Republican nominee. This indicates to me that they are Democrat operatives.
Heh heh. Yeah, they’ll ignore her as she rises in the future to crush them.
Who exactly is this stupid, silly little bitch....and just why should we care what she “thinks” or spews?
