With little hope of performing well in Florida next week, Rick Santorum may be cutting his losses.
The Republican primary, as predicted, has become solidly a two-man contest between Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney. Santorum is struggling to compete in a state that is much larger, much more expensive and has a more diverse electorate than the previous three contests.
The former Pennsylvania senator told reporters in Florida that he was leaving the state after Thursday night's debate for a fundraiser in Pennsylvania and to prepare his tax records to make public at home in Virginia, according to an NBC report. Santorum is evidence of our dysfunctional primary system. He never had the organization or money to be a national candidate. But because he spent an entire year in Iowa campaigning, he won the first-in-the-nation caucus.

Right now there is a full court press to defeat Newt and Conservatism. Rick is being left alone because he is low in the polls. Believe me if had traction the RINOs would be after him.
With Fox News, Drudge, Coulter, Beck, and the list goes on and on going all out for Mitt, we Conservatives need to get behind one candidate. I hope Sarah comes down from Alaska and campaigns for Newt. The war is on like I never dreamed. I guess we will see where Rick Santorum really stands in the coming days and weeks.
BTTT
We’ll leave a light on for ya, Rick.
