Mitt Romney today announced the support of former Virginia Governor Jim Gilmore.
This is a real shame. Jim was a leader at eliminating the personal property tax in this state.
He used to be among the good guys.
Ping.
Bob McDonnell, not Jim Gilmore, is Virginia's governor.
The title says Romney is supporting the governor of Virginia, but the text says the "former" Virginia governor is supporting Romney.
Which is it? Support "for" or support "of"?
Too bad... he’s gone Abner Holton.
I seem to remember that Gilmore was a squish on pro-life.
Also, in 2008 he was in the Geroge Pataki “Why not me?” Publisher’s Clearing House presidential sweepstakes. The same one presently occupied by Buddy Roemer, the incumbent who came in third behind a convicted felon and a Klan Grand Wizard.
We already knew Gilmore supported Romney, we found that out when he wouldn’t let anyone but Romney and Paul on the ballot.
For all those folks out there who imagine Mitt has a smooth functioning campaign operation ~ he also seems to have one that can't spell and doesn't understand grammar.
He was a strong anti-tax guy. I thought it worth letting his old buddies at FR find out how he's skidded off the ditch into senility.
(Geek: A carnival term for a fellow whose show is him bitting the head off a chicken).
