If any Republican presidential candidates are looking for last-minute advice before the Iowa caucuses, Sarah Palin, Mitch Daniels, Haley Barbour and Herman Cain have some thoughts.
The Washington Post asked the four politicians Palin, the 2008 GOP vice-presidential nominee; Daniels, the Indiana governor who passed on a presidential run; Barbour, the Mississippi governor who also passed on a White House bid; and Cain, who suspended his campaign last month for tips.
Barbour wrote it should be all about President Obama and his policies: "If I were campaigning, I'd talk about how his policies have made economic growth and job creation harder."
Daniels wrote that the threat of the national debt should unite voters: "The advocates of change should stress our commonality, never our divisions. Every American, regardless of category, will be harmed if we continue following Europe into debt disaster."
Cain said the country needs bold solutions, like his 9-9-9 tax plan....

Considering they all bailed, I don’t give a flying flip what they have to say.
NH, Wapo crap designed to get us to attack Cain and Palin for hawking books.
Why take advice from cowards who fear the arena?
Except for Mr. Cain, none of those mentioned was ever in the race, so how did they “bail” as you stated?
I could care less what the Compost says.
Good GRIEF! Leave it to Palin to hawk something—her damn book of all things, again! Will she EVER........? !!!!
Now after that, which of these hide-outs for brains running their cash registers bothered to remind us that we are being sunk by our own Establishment?????? We should complain against OBAMA? Heck, we can’t even bury the Establishment.
If we can’t whip the Establishment, in our own house, how do we go outside to whip the Marxists?
This is THE reason RON PAUL has the swell of supporters he has. People are ready for a revolutionary and he looks more like one than the rest of the namby pambies on the field, though Perry runs second in that department, who is willing to throw things and break stuff. The rest are still performing for the troops—the Establishment, seeming to court their support when they are first in line who need to be kicked to the curb.
Gagging on stainless steel with a handle, here.
Thanks 2ndDivisionVet.
No, she wan’t go away, but look at it this way: It gives you an excuse to whip yourself into a froth and take potshots at a successful woman. Or you could go out and become successful yourself. Governor Sarah Palin didn’t have a rich/powerful daddy or hubby to help her out or buy her a political office, like Hillary, Nancy Pelosi and a hundred other Democrats and country club Republicans. She lifted herself up by her bootstraps. I thought that was what people (especially members of her gender) admired? Was I wrong?
The ONLY thing Sarah Palin has ever lifted was your wallet.
Have you willed your estate to her yet, or turned over your inheritance? Sarah proved to be a glorified cheerleader, when the sun was shining, but never a long haul contender beyond her constant cash for crap campaign.
Sorry, sort of. But the outcome, the cost/reward proves the truth. Ask yourself what she got, and then ask what you got, in return? You got the 4-color book and a video? Well?

Yeah. The whole reason our friends here wanted Palin out of the race was to open it up for better candidates to come forward.
When’s that going to happen?
Hey now!
I passed this thread by and you still slam me on it for disliking Palin?
Way to fight like a girl.
” pissant, jla, humblegunner and RitaOK. The A Team of the Palinoia Platoon. “ <<<<<<
I resemble that remark! :)
You were not wrong. The level of hate this RitaOK is directing at Gov Palin is scary, but who can know the motivation for it. She (?) should compare Palin’s actual record with Paul’s actual record then get back to us.
Hey, I wanted to ping you. You and I made the A LIST!!! Glad to see you came around to see it, on your own! Cheers all around!
Can you believe, in the chaotic primary, she once again hawked that damn book????? ROTFL!!!!!!
Happy NEW Year, btw! Rita
Sarah Palin: Conservative Thoroughbred.
Cheers!
The scary part should be your empty wallet, and her thin 18 month record you blubbered over for MONTHS, YEARS, while she hawked her crap atcha’. How’s that book or two and that video working out for ya’? You were swindled and you fear what I have to say about that fact? LOL!
America is cooked if what some of you have is catching.
I'm guessing you've never read her "damn" book, have you? That's a shame because it is a very good read. In fact, I've read it three times and listened to the audio book twice.(in her own voice, btw)Here's what this article posted about Sarah Palin's strategy.
And Palin said the advice she'd offer is available in her 2009 book.
"Candidates, please turn to Chapter Three of Going Rogue and read what it takes for our country to step toward energy independence," she wrote. "Note the lesson I share in the same chapter about taking on the 'elite,' the crony capitalists and the permanent political establishment to get a job done."
Now how was she going to say for this article all that she said in that entire chapter? Going Rogue is a fine read, I suggest you do so.
