2/12/11 - Here is video of Ann Coulter at CPAC today, where she was asked what she thought about the "2012 GOP playing field." She hesitated, and then said she would just come out with what she thinks - If Chris Christie does not run, then she believes Mitt Romney will win the GOP Nomination, but lose to Obama.

When it comes to judging politicians it is important to put more weight in their actions over their rhetoric. As Governor of Massachusetts, Romney governed pretty far to the left. Mitt Romney’s record makes John McCain look like Jesse Helms.
Of course Mitt will lose to Obama. Democrats (and Rinos) are counting on it. It'll be McCain redux. The larger concern is a split vote between Gingrich and Paul, which also paves the way for a potential 2nd term (God help us please).
I don’t get it. What’s the purpose of posting a ten-month old article where so many things have changed since then? We only see Freepers ranting on and on, lamenting how bad Ann is for cheering on Christie since she should have known that he’s nor running...
Coulter is a moron. She supports establishment republicans....her loyalty to the conservative cause is in serious question.
Ann wants to sell books to unsuspecting republican dolts.
FWIW, Ann was much prettier before I got HD
I’m sticking with my original first choice. Screw the party.
Absolutely, do that.
OMG: can’t you read. This is from many months ago.
So, you are fully prepared to live through another four years of corruption, ineptitude, and scandal in both domestic and foreign policies and will live with the consequences and the irreparable damage being done to our great nation?
I agree - I went through like 20 posts and no one bothered to notice it was a damned ten month old story.
No reason to re post this except to make Freepers look dumb.
So what if I reacted only to the headline (which did not say FEB '11 at the time) and will instead look like a Joe Biden to all the future posters here on this thread!
I say too you, BEGONE! and leave us Dumb asses in peace!
Re your saying they will come up with more women who’ve been with newt:
As odious as picturing Callista and others cheating with him in the Speaker’s office is, he has neutralized this line of attack by his religious conversion and his apologies.
Many Joe Bidens on this thread!!!!! :)
I agree, and still hold out a thin hope that Sarah Palin will change her mind and step into the race before it's too late.
I can't think of another political figure who's got as much on the ball, in as many different categories, as she does. She's still my first choice, and I just may write her in, whether she runs or not.
I'm sick of compromising my integrity.
If the damned GOP slides any further to the left it may as well just merge with the demorats!
There are plenty of good conservatives who could run and win but they won't, they know the damned Rockefeller republicans won't stand behind them and are likely to attack them.
I suspect this is why Marco Rubio and Allen West aren't acting eager to run, y'all won't support them 100%.
1. The first line of the “article” text (which is the youtube text) does note the date.
2. Hannity used this clip tonight to embarrass Coulter. She was not pleased and she was a bit taken aback. She was dancing. So it is actually very much a newsy clip tonight.
It is actually a very newsy clip.
Sean Hannity used it tonight to trip Coulter up, which is why the thread was started (there was no story to link to at the time).
Here is a new thread on the same clip:

Swamp, with all due respect I am hardly a moderate. If I had my druthers I’d be all in in supporting Ryan, Rubio, West, and their ilk. I believe they get it. Romney is an empty suit IMO, Gingrich is cannon fodder for the media (brilliant and flawed though he is), and no one else has stepped forth. We lack a strong charismatic leader who can mobilize the average American (center right)who will suffer the consequences of the current admin’s incompetence here and abroad.
If Obama is reelected the US will get hurt, and hurt bad. He and his people either have no idea what they are doing, or are purposefully trying to destroy this country. I’d like to think its incompetence, because the other alternative is so incomprehensible.
Where is Ronald Reagan when we really need him?
Do you think things will ever get better if we keep playing the game by establishment rules? I sure don't!
2012 is that time. This newly elected Republican will not be the one to lead us out of the morass we've been put in, but he will pave the way for he who will. Its a start, and start we must.
