Relatively few prominent Republican women have spoken out, so far, about the sexual harassment charges facing Herman Cain. Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski started to change that today, telling CNN that she's "concerned" about the growing list of complaints about Cain's behavior:
Murkowski made clear she was moved by the public account of Sharon Bialek, a single mother from Chicago ... "It takes incredible courage for an individual to come forward as this latest, as this one woman has," the third-term Alaskan said. "So it does cause me to wonder exactly what is out there. I am concerned." ...

In a perverse way it does, since the photo from a month ago and eyewitness testimony shows that Ms. Bialek was very comfortable hugging and putting her arm around Mr. Cain which makes her current statements almost impossible to believe.
It does take some kind of courage to go before the nation and tell a story which depends on no one remembering or photographing what you did a month ago.
Also, I follow a lot of DC Republican folks on Twitter, and they have been unbearable this past two weeks. The party infrastructure is roaring this week. They have no idea they are only in the majority because the conservative base is done with the ‘experts’ and going with true constitutional conservatives only. They falsely think they call the shots. McCain, Bush 41, Dole, and Ford are their guys, and they all are election losers.
That pic just burned my eyeballs...
amen!
my wife and i have been praying for cain.
yes.
the truth of the matter is,
the two parties, democrat and republican, are both progressives.
for 100 years they’ve been playing good cop, bad cop.
the rinos are willing to wait their turn to get to the trough.
both parties are big spenders.
Same here. We are too.
She had help, and it had the RNC's fingerprints all over it.
I cannot stand this bitty who is supposed to be representing Alaska.
She defeated a Republican. She is not a Republican.
Interesting that Bialek happens to be from Chicago. Also, if Bialek was so concerned about Herman Cain, as a candidate, why didn't she make these accusations public back when Cain was running for the Senate? It's also instructive that she's been sitting on the accusations for almost 14 years, and made them public AFTER the statute of limitations had run out, so there is no possible LEGAL action, which means that she doesn't need any evidence, just her accusations, with the MSM behind her to take down Cain's candidacy.
Watching her with Gloria Allred yesterday, I was stuck by the notion that she was simply reading what someone else wrote for her, because she looked totally disinterested in what supposedly occurred.
Another Screwball.
and Murkowski should quit when the story turns out to be false.
