Are you a Republican looking for a more viable alternative to Mitt Romney? Has the cratering of Rick Perry left you feeling hopeless? Do the scandals afflicting Herman Cain make you think he isn't all that electable? Well, there is still a very electable conservative in the race! Surprise it is Jon Huntsman! He has been branded a moderate by the press and by people in his campaign. But take a look at his record and see if it doesn't warm your heart.

Before I draw the ire of my fellow conservatives, let me say this. I am an evangelical Christian that does put a large premium of pro-life convictions. With the exception of Gov. Perry, no candidate in the race has the pro-life record that Governor Huntsman does. He has a stellar record on the 2nd Amendment as well and is the only candidate that has come out publicly in full support Paul Ryan's plan. Understand that I don't share his views on anthropological global warming and reciprocal beneficiary rights, but this is a very conservative guy that would beat Obama like a drum in 2012.
I look forward to hearing your feedback.

He’s a RINO. An honest RINO, but a RINO nonetheless.

He also worships at Al Gore’s church of global warming and worked for the Obama Administration. Those two points alone disqualify him from consideration by me.

With the exception of Gov. Perry, no candidate in the race has the pro-life record that Governor Huntsman does. Did Perry or Huntsman ever give $1 million of their own money to spur people to vote pro-life? Herman Cain did.

Huntsman made a really, really, really serious error in accepting a high level appointment from the Democrats.
That turned him into a RINO.
Sorry ~ he's off the ticket.

Not voting for a democrat. We've already got one in the White House.
Every time I see Huntsman speak publicly, I keep expecting him to break down and finally admit that he's gay.
