For any other candidate, raining on a presidential announcement parade would be seen as sabotage. Not former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney.
The 2012 presidential candidate told CNNs Piers Morgan Monday that he wasnt offended when former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin appeared in the first-in-the-nation primary state of New Hampshire on the same day he was set to formally announce his intention to seek the 2012 GOP nomination for president.
In fact, though Romney shared his plans one week in advance and Palin insisted on keeping the destination of her top-secret bus tour under wraps until the day before her New Hampshire appearance, Romney insisted that the 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee really didnt ruin my day.
In a lot of respects its the best thing that could happen to me, he said on CNNs Piers Morgan Tonight.
Right now, your greatest enemy is overexposure. People get tired of seeing the same person day in and day out.
And Romney, who also sought the GOP nomination in 2008, had nothing but kind words for Palin, whos still batting around the will-she-or-wont-she question....

Mitt et al have an impossible task. Beat Palin, and keep from offending her Army. Not likely. When Palin announces it will be in front of thousands, and she won’t be navel-gazing about being overly exposed.

Santorum: Conservative JOKE
Bachmann: Conservative No executive experience and just hired Ed Rollins from Perot/Huckabee fame.
Herman Cain: Conservative <--- Yep
Pawlenty: Semi-Conserative JOKE
Sarah Palin IS the conservative base. When she gets in, ain't nobody splittin' nothing.

So if Palin gets in, it certainly helps Romney by dividing the conservative vote further in primaries. No wonder he is thinking her and encouraging her.
BS! Romney is NO conservative!

Mitt tried to rain on Palin’s bus trip. she announced her tour on May 26th. mitt announced his speech on May 27th in an effort to take her spotlight from her. Palin simple showed up in NH as her answer to his underhanded attempt to steal the spotlight. the dates do not lie. Palin was first Mitt reacted to Palin and Palin reacted to Mitt being a lowhanded slime.
Palin won the battle for attention. Mitt is licking his wounds.

As far as ticking us off. too late Mitt and his buttboys ticked us off in Nov 2008 and have done so ever since most of the anit-palin posters that swear they have no candidate while bashing Palin non-stop are Mitt supporters.
I would never vote for mitt. NEVER

If you honestly believe Santorum or Bachmann has a chance of being elected President you are delusional.
The day Palin announces the other conservatives’ hopes are over.

Good ol’ Bill (did I ever mention I was the Drug Czar and the Education Secretary?) Bennett is talking up Romney like crazy, just like he did McLaim in the last election cycle. I think he convinced a lot of conservatives who listen to his morning show to vote for McLaim in the primaries.
Bill Bennett just rubs me the wrong way most of he time. He’s an inside-the-beltway Neocon social conservative, very close to RINO status, IMHO.

If you thing Bachmann won’t get a significant share of conservative votes, I am afraid you are also delusional. She has already talked me into sending her campaign money.
And Santorum being even more conservative in social issues and
fiscal issues, he is also certain to get a percentage of conservative votes.
Herman Cain is already gathering momentum. If you think all this does not help RINO Mitt when Palin jumps in, all I can say is wake up.

You completely misunderstood my post. I said Romney is the ONLY real RINO in the race. Bachmann, Santorum, Cain, Palin will split the conservative vote. Romney gets ALL the country clubbers, ALL the moderates, and ALL the RINO’s.

Sarah may end up being the best thing that ever happened to Romney, but not until she has destroyed his chances of being potus.
