As President, Barack Obama has shown the occasional capacity to recognize good policies when he sees them.
As a candidate for president, Mr. Obama continuously condemned George W. Bush for the Guantanamo Bay enemy combatant facility, for enhanced interrogation techniques, rendition, black site interrogation facilities, virtually everything else the nation was doing in the War on Terror, and also for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. That technique played well with voters and helped him win the election.
But as president he learned that things look different from inside the Oval Office than from outside on the campaign trail, and he used and benefitted from those same anti-terrorism policies he so bitterly criticized in finding and disposing of Osama bin Laden.
Why not just post your writing in full?
How so? People have to be on FR to find the link.
And, by the way, I don't make money from my blogging activities.
Because I don’t need to try to follow and comment on one more sight. It’s all I can do to keep up with the sights I post full columns on now.
There might be a lot of exposure on FR, but if there is no reference site to identify with, what difference does it make?
If attracting readers to other sites is considered inappropriate, then the value of posting on FR diminishes quickly. If those are the rules, fine, I’ll gladly play by them, now that I know what the rules are.
From my perspective, the main value to me was the opportunity to attract attention to one of the sites I post on. I’ve been called a pimp, etc. for that, and that’s fine.
I’ll just go elsewhere.
Thanks for your input.
Duh, it isn't like a hundred thousand people are on your MySpace page. I notice also Jim Rob isn't pimping FR on the your page. Plenty of nobodies have announced the demise of FR because they are leaving, but we will take that risk so bye.
And, by the way, I don't make money from my blogging activities.
That I believe.
Following and commenting is part of the deal n00bie.
Its all I can do to keep up with the sights(sic) I post full columns on now.
Google a picture of a tiny violin and look at it.
Were you born a cynic, or did you go to college for it?
Not looking for or wanting sympathy, Bubba.
I was writing published commentary when you were just a nightmare in your mamma’s eye.
So you are 80.
Big deal.
Die already.
Btw, how are we going to miss your whiny ass if you won’t leave?
Yeah, you know, you are absolutely, 100 percent, totally, completely, unarguably, undeniably right.
Enjoy your miserable, narrow life.
Bye, now.
One of us had to get an education.
I know it but it nice when a fan brown noses.
Just one more.
Why are you smart guys afraid to use your real name?
LOL!
You just can't win butt packer!
Tom Eaker IS my real name!
Was your momma angry when you got the great big red "L" tattooed on your forehead?
So long liberal.
Oh, and BTW:
“Please explain how you arrive at that conclusion.”
His bank account told him so.
“The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who have not got it.”
George Bernard Shaw
Jimmy, I think you may be developing a serious case of red ass, (AKA “butthurt”...) and my advice to you is to retire from the field with what little of your shredded honor you can drag along with you. You know not whom you trifle with...
Cheerio...
“Tom Eaker IS my real name!”
Game, set and match.
Thanks for playing.
I call Jimmie my “pin setter”.
He sets’em up and I knocks’em down.
Hey, don’t use your real name! That’s crazy!
Switch your initials around like I did.
