She's not going to do what others expect. Take that to the bank.

Peter Singleton is the secret identity of “Tourist Guy” right? See: http://www.ntskeptics.org/2002/2002september/september2002.htm

She pretty much said so in her book and in earlier interviews....that she’s unconventional and wont hire “republican aides” etc.....It the idiots in the MSM and those on FR who don’t know that and constantly beat the drum that she’s not running based on traditional political ways

BTW One thing that makes the media think she isnt running is that Palin aids are not inside the beltway for-hire crowd that leaks, snitch and gives info on whats going on.

Interesting, indeed. If he hangs out in a motel and washes his shirts in a sink, then obviously he’s not getting all expenses paid.

He sounds as if he’s a really dedicated conservative, who has chosen on his own to work for Sarah. But it also sounds as if she doesn’t disapprove. Sarah has always had a way of drawing loyal friends to work for her.

I think she has stayed out of Iowa precisely because it involves going around and talking to all the party insiders. That’s not her gig. But it won’t hurt if someone else is willing to do it for her.

Doesn't have to meet. Doesn't have to coordinate. just give him his instructions and tell him to do his job. Hahahaha.

Unconventional? You betcha.

Deepening the mystery: Mr. Singleton swears he has never met Ms. Palin and has no contact with her team. "I'm just a dedicated activist working on my own," he said.

I believe him. The establishment political class is in for a surprise once Sarah Palin officially enters the race. They cannot fathom the independence, individuality and freelance spirit of Palin and her supporters. Should this all come together as I hope, the Palin administration will be the most independent from old guard politics as any in history.

If this guy’s for real, IMO he’s doing the exact right things you do here to organize.

“The guy has compiled a truly encyclopedic knowledge of Iowa politics and Iowa political operatives,” she said as Mr. Singleton worked the room, pulling aside members of the county’s central committee.”

I respect him already.

The media pundits and the party operatives miss middle America; they don’t understand it. Flyover country. Sheep.

People who can’t send their kids to public school, and have to worry about their well-being and future.

People who have seen at eye-level good jobs go way from their communities.

People who drive trucks, or have friends who do because they haul firewood, work supplies, etc. They can’t go buy a $40,000 pickup to do that, but they help each other move, haul shingles or brush or all the other things you can’t do in a Chevy Cruze.

People who have at least a vestigial connection to rural America; hunting, fishing, farming, gardening.

People whose idea of a good vacation is a 3-day weekend at the lake with friends who have a lot and a camper.

People who grew up believing in America, and weren’t the smartest, or prettiest, or wealthiest but were proud of this country and have disproportionately contributed to its work ethos, moral foundation and fighting forces.

We are not the bitter clingers they would like think we are, we are the backbone.

SP will connect those dots in a way that will leave them flatfooted and struggling to understand what just happened.

I’ll buy the lone wolf. I might not be Sarah Palin’s biggest fan, but I’ll give her enough credit to assume that if he really was doing her bidding, he wouldn’t be staying at a Day’s Inn.

But not many Republicans here buy the lone-wolf theory....

I have an idea. Why don't you idiot bumpkins just decide who you like and who you don't and then do what you want about it. jysus krikey.

You betcha, she will. I've known for a long time, that the left and the Palin detractors on the right, are seriously underestimating this brilliant, once in an era patriot.

On the day that Sarah finally announces her intention to run for the presidency, you're going to see a virtual eruption of support appear out of nowhere, all across the nation. It's going to be unlike anything any of us has ever witnessed.

That's how much this woman connects with middle America. We're out here, and we're coiled like a spring - ready to unwind at her signal.

“But not many Republicans here buy the lone-wolf theory....”

And, the left, dems, Rinos, and the LSM (I know, redundant) also have no clue as to what is going on beneath their most faulty Palin radar system. But Sarah does, she is well aware there is no need for her to follow their meme as to running.

Outside the beltway here in the hinterlands, are numerous Palin grassroots organizations, energized, coalesced, ready, and just waiting for her to announce. If she does, overnight there will spring forth as from the very earth, Palin’s legions in their tens, if not hundreds of thousands, and the political world will be shocked to it’s very core. For every norm as to concepts for a political campaign the insiders thought they knew, or espoused, will be turned on it’s ear, upside down, and never the same again.

Obama had his paid ACORN lackeys, the unions shelled out hundreds of millions of dollars to pay for uninterested and unqualified workers getting out the vote. Not so for Palin, her workers will all be passionate volunteers, who will not only work their fingers to the bone for her, but also contribute their “own” money to the campaign.

In short, stay tuned, if Sarah Palin announces she is running, the rules will have to be rewritten.

If she intends to run, Gov. Palin should hire this guy. Sounds like he’s working his butt off for her in Iowa, all on his own dime.
