Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney continues to be seen as the favorite for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination according to a special National Journal Political Insiders Poll released on Tuesday.
The second favorite for the GOP nod is former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty. But Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor who was John McCains running mate in 2008 and was once viewed as a potential party standard bearer, was ranked ninth by the GOP Insiderstied with former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Texas Gov. Rick Perrywhen they were asked who was most likely going to be their 2012 presidential nominee.

Just what the nation needs at this critical time: applesauce.
You got that right. I guess I'll be writing in my choice. I won't fall for the "Good Old Boy" choice again.

I don’t see how Romney is going to get past the “Romneycare” attack. As for Pawlenty, what did he do to deserve getting that high in the rankings?
Sometimes I think the only difference between a “GOP Insider” and a Democrat is a better haircut and a shower.
