This is good news, in my opinion. Here's why: Governor Romney has an albatross or two around his neck (RomneyCare and RomneyMarriage) plus his Mormon faith. Governor Huckabee just bought a $3.5 million dollar mansion in Florida, which most people don't do if they think they're about to quit a good paying TV gig. Do I even have to explain why Newt won't be our candidate? That leaves Governor Sarah Palin.

That leaves Governor Sarah Palin.Who will go on to prove that Obama can, indeed, win re-election by a landslide of Reaganesque proportions.

Hopefully Gomer won’t run.

I gather all the PR about the four retreads is aimed at convincing a doubtful public that there is really no way to prevent a second term.

I do not understand the appeal of either Romney or Huckabee. I didn’t understand it 4 years ago, and I still don’t.

Absolutely fricking retarded article. Of course that “Gang of Four” polls across the top: they’re the ones anyone has heard of. How is Michelle Bachman or Tim Pawlenty going to attract poll numbers when they haven’t campaigned???

Four politicians with +’s and -’s. Of these four I like Sarah best but, I’m drawn to Herman Cain because he is from the real world. www.hermancain.com

Everybody here keeps selling Romney short because we hate him (deservedly). The problem is that he’s a RINO. Lot’s of people like RINOs! There is no other major candidate on the GOP side that would appeal so much to the old tyme wishy-washy Rockefeller/McCain/Dole wing of the party. If the conservative vote splits in the primaries Romney could cake walk to the nomination.
