What, exactly, has Meghan McCain ever accomplished? Her resume seems to be based on three major achievements, none of which is a personal accomplishment. First, is reasonably articulate, a function of inherited intelligence. Second, she has a famous father. Third, she has large breasts. It seems they make her an expert!

The truth is she is Ron Reagan's separated at birth twin sister. She has accomplished nothing in her life except to establish her bona fides as a brat who rejects everything her famous father stands for. Reasonable people can debate John McCain's conservatism but would agree that he does not want to destroy America.

Meghan's latest adventure into analyst land is hilarious and pitiful at the same time. The hilarity is that she is treated as a serious commentator on the State of the Union speech and responses to that speech. Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann are articulate, successful women who have more real world experience in their respective little fingers that Meghan will ever have.

The pitiful aspect is that Meghan is too dumb to realize she is being played as a fool. The only reason she's on TV is so MSNBC and CNN can put her on-going adolescent rebellion on display.

The punch line to this comedy came when she put her foot in her mouth with the "poor man's Sarah Palin" remark. In one phrase Meghan managed to dis the entire Tea Party as poor people; identify Bachmann as a champion of those poor people; identify Sarah Palin as the gold standard among conservatives.
