I’ve heard that Palin is stoopid.
Please get a hobby/family/girlfriend newbie. lol
No she’s plenty smart.
At the risk of being flamed, I agree with Ann Coulter. Sarah needs about 5 more years of deep study of the American founding fathers to give her the breadth of Federal administration theory we need in a President. Why hurry her term? If she has the qualities, she will be really ready by then.
You (and Ann) might be right but WE don’t have five years to spare. We need her (or someone like her) in 2012! Right now I don’t see anybody who could fill that bill... do you?
Better as the new Chairman of the RNC; better yet as the Chairman of the still-to-be-founded Tea Party party’s National Committee.
Ann is a has been and has burned her bridges. Notice FR used to have pics of her on nearly every post and now it’s, Ann who? I don’t see Ann offering up anyone with the “proper education” so until she does, she should keep quiet. America doesn’t have 5 years. We don’t have the two years left in the usurper’s term.
Wow, a newbie and possible troll announcing that Ann Coulter is a “has been”. You people from DU used to be more subtle.
Well, in terms of real understanding and depth, Chris Christie (although he recognizes that he should tend to business in NJ), Michelle Bachman (although she has not made noises about it), and even John Boehner have the potential. Sarah is just a bit light, but has terrific possibility. My concern is that the left will encourage us to push her out there just to have her slammed in the press and ultimately pull a McCain, Reid, Pelosi, Murkowski on us.
Great idea. Although I think it was an absolute stroke of genius that the Tea Party did not formally strike off in a 3 party direction. That devastated the Ds. The voice of the Tea Party was heard much more clearly because they pulled a Soros and became the "Shadow Party", the real movers of the voting public. Why spoil it with a formation and divide the Rs down. Just reform them from the inside out until we are the party of Lincoln, once again.
Ann is not a “has been” as far as I’m concerned. She pulled an odd stunt by speaking to the homosexual crowd, but tended to be somewhat more gutsy with them than I thought she would be. While I wish that she would come out and say, “Homosexuality is wrong and I won’t dignify it by attending a meeting of those who want it respected.” she still has a pretty good bite on the Libs. Can’t get it all in one person.
Fire up the coals, boys. I've got a live one here.
Sarah needs about 5 more years of deep study of the American founding fathers to give her the breadth of Federal administration theory we need in a President.
Five years of "deep" study, eh? Name me ONE president who assumed the office with the degree of education on "Federal Administration Theory" which you're demanding of Sarah Palin. Just one will do.
Frankly, your comment is such a naked attempt to impugn Palin's intelligence and experience, that it's hardly worth rebutting, but you asked for it.
Here's a suggestion for all of you Concern Trolls and political operatives who are earning your pay on Sarah Palin threads at Free Republic:
Lose the worn out attack points, and come up with some substantive arguments against a Palin presidency. Your schtick has become completely transparent.
bttt
Aw, bgill is alright.
I might not call Ann Coulter a "has been", but she's definitely lost me as a fan, after the way she put Sarah down.
I don't know what gets in to some right-of-center commentators in the media. There simply is no logical reason for any of them to parrot the left's slanderous attack points against Sarah. It's destructive, and divisive. I could see if they were talking down some politician who has done real harm or damage to the nation, or someone who has proven themselves to be a RINO sell-out.
Sarah's neither of those things. Listen carefully to her detractors, and all you hear is hot air escaping. There's no "there", there. No criticisms of substance. Just easily debunked, phony ordnance.
Hearing a high profile commentator such as Ann Coulter go negative on Sarah Palin now makes me suspect the commentator - not Sarah.
Expect for these operatives to begin throwing their guns at us. They’re all out of ammo.
