It seems that every time one sees Meghan McCain anymore, someone is inevitably going to ask her what she thinks of something Sarah Palin has said or done or is talking about doing. Even though Senator John McCain's daughter has been cautiously open about her feelings about the former governor of Alaska and what she meant to her father's 2008 bid for the presidency, it is evident to most that she thinks the Palins are nothing short of white trash. But Meghan McCain realizes just how powerful Sarah Palin has become, and she is very indirect with her comments regarding the half-term ex-governor. That careful verbal dancing around the question was in evidence again, according to Politico, Thursday when she appeared on Fox News' "America Live" with Megan Kelly.
Kelly brought up Sarah Palin's recent hints of running for president in 2012 and asked McCain what she thought of Palin's chances of winning a general election.
"I think she could definitely win a primary," McCain answered. "I think winning the general is the great $64,000 question."
"She's overwhelmingly polarizing," she added, "maybe the most polarizing figure of our time."
And she just might be. According to a couple of polls conducted just after the midterm elections, Palin's name, although she enjoys excellent name recognition, generates either a positive or negative opinion. The latest Associated Press-GfK survey indicated that only 11 percent of those polled were unsure of what they thought of her, while 49 percent held an unfavorable opinion of her. Only 40 percent had a favorable opinion.
Her most likely challengers, former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee and former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney had favorability ratings of 49 and 46 percent, respectively....

I made the point a week or so ago to a Republican friend that brought up the polarizing issue. I said, who on earth is more polarizing than Obama? No one in our lifetime.
If you’re an overweight 24 year old bleached blond and everyone ignores you while everyone is talking about how hot a woman who is old enough to be your mother is ....
The truth hurts.
Two words: Telegenic rack.
Wow!
Some of the posters here on FreeRepublic are in good company!
Are you saying you don’t?
I like to keep the recently ZOTted engaged.
A McCain speaking out against a real conservative. No surprises here.
I have doubts about Meghan’s ability to walk and chew gum at the same time.
Oh. did that one finally go bye-bye?
Like fatty and her daddy are not polarizing.
Ah Meghan, Obama is the most polarizing figure of all time. Nobody cares what you have to say, anyways.

I'm not passing judgment, just sayin'. 0:-)
The Palins have worked at many different jobs over many years. Meghan is second generation inherited wealth.
I have no doubts, however, about her caloric intake.

Meg, the lady beat Frank Murkowski in the ‘06 Republican primary, then beat his predecessor Tony Knowles to become governor, at a time when nobody much south of Juneau except hardcore political geeks knew who she was, i.e., before she became Sarah Palin the national media magnet, in a horrible year for the Republicans. Let’s just say I’m more confident about her chances than you are. And Meg, sweetie, if I ever meet you and I’m nodding and smiling at you while you prattle on about your political opinions...it’s not because I think you’re the smartest thing in the room, or because I admire you as the Great White Hope of Republican moderates. It’s because I’d really, really like to motorboat your bewbs.
And we care about the thoughts of the daughter of a RINO hasbeen why?
