Sarah Palin wonders: Gee, where was the same curiosity the MSM is displaying about Christine O’Donnell during 2008? Barack Obama has still not released records all other presidents have made public and the MSM has shown a decided indifference in asking any questions. Which would be curious–except that in 2010, everyone knows that’s how the MSM rolls.

The same Mainstream Media that exhibited a decided indifference about Barack Obama’s medical, university, college and other records has been busy digging into Christine O’Donnell’s years-old views on masturbation.

During an interview with Fox News host Greta Van Susteren Wednesday night, Palin said: “Funny . . . That we are learning more about Christine O’Donnell and her college years, her teenage years, her financial dealings than anybody ever even bothered to ask about Barack Hussein Obama as a candidate and now as our president.”
There were no questions asked during the disgraceful Mainstream Media coverage of the 2008 election because the Media was too busy digging through dumpsters in Wasilla, Alaska, for dirt on the Republican VP nominee.
Oh, and attacking any sources which did ask inconvenient questions about the MSM’s Messiah.
Palin alludes to a “double standard.” It’s not. It’s blatant content management and it no longer is very effective because it’s been so transparent for so long, Americans give the same respect to the New York Times‘ political opinions as they did the Weekly World News.
Thank heavens the Mainstream Media is dying.
May it be slow, protracted and painful.
Just like the damage they’ve inflicted on objective journalism during the last 50 years.
They just want to be on the side that’s winning.

There’s no point in using words like bias or liberal.
Most TV stations are Democrat stations. The media tries to get Democrats elected. The media is for Democrats.
Around 20% of the people are liberal. Another 40% aren’t liberal but watch Democrat TV stations for their news and many end up voting for the Democrat. Another 40% are conservative.
Fox News is the Republican TV station. The rest are Democrat.

No, I don’t think it’s your imagination. Golda Meir, Margaret Thatcher and Angela Merkel seemed to be good leaders for their respective countries. We could do worse (actually, we currently are...).

That would be sensible in some respects, but I don’t think that’s what they want. They want Marxism/socialism to win at all costs, and any time it appears to be losing they will unfailingly attack anyone appearing to be remotely conservative...and if a conservative actually wins, the MSM will continue to attack said conservative until the MSM croaks (which is hopefully sooner vs. later).

I disagree. It’s that that Steele, Rove, Krauthammer etc don’t know the MSM is the propaganda arm of leftists. They know that. Anyone with an IQ above 80 knows that.
It’s that they want to be liked by the leftists, they’re lukewarm moderate Establishment Republicans. They are Part of the Problem. A major part of the problem.
In a war, you know your enemies are enemies. But when allies or brothers in arms turn out to have loyalty to the enemy, they are worse than the out and out enemies. That’s exactly what Establishment Republicans are. They are not stalwart conservatives, they are power hungry elitists.

I’m not surprised at the lack of vetting by the MSM but what bothers me more are the so called conservative pundits. Beck, Limbaugh, Levin and others have run, with fear in their eyes, from even asking probing questions.
Beck claims, “question with boldness” yet cringes in terror when the question of Obummer’s faith or place of birth is broached.
The first time I saw that fear was during the town hall meeting when McShame grabbed the mic from the hands of the older lady who claimed Obummer was an Arab. I told my wife at that point there was something drastically wrong.
Any public discussion of Obummers past records are strictly verboten. There is a deep underlying cancer in our Federal Government that they are deathly afraid of.

Sarah is absolutely on the mark. She knows that the Media has to be confronted immediately on every lie and bias they perpetuate. The Media is the communists' stealth nuclear weapons.
Without confronting the media in every interview, demanding of the interviewer "where were you or your organization when.......happened? Why me and not Mr./Ms. when he/she said/did the very same thing?
Republicans shouldn't talk to the media without having their own raw taping of the event to confront the media on their "creative editing."
We wouldn't be dealing with 0h0m0 as POTUS today if the Media was just 25% neutral!
