Karl Rove continued his media rounds tonight with a satellite appearance on Hannity, which he used to discuss Christine ODonnells appearance last night on the same program. After his much-talked about criticism of ODonnell in the past week, its safe to say after hearing her last night, Rove is coming around.
Rove tempered his own positive thoughts by noting how far behind she still is in the polls, but called her overall performance in last nights interview a very good sign that she can get people to pay attention to her. Most notably, he said ODonnell handled the witchcraft issue great that witchcraft issue, of course, being a major point of contention of Roves.
In addition, he praised her for being more forthcoming about why she fell behind on her mortgage ODonnell told Hannity it was because she was doing pro bono PR work for a client, which left her unable to pay. He also liked that shes bringing seasoned operatives aboard for her campaign.
Rove acknowledged there are still questions he has about ODonnell hes still unsure what to make of her federal tax lien from the 2005 tax year, for example but overall seemed duly impressed and said shes on the right course, which is to recognize you got a problem. You cant solve a problem if you think, Hey, everybodys hunky-dory and I can just ignore these things.
Maybe now that Rove appears to be getting on the ODonnell bandwagon, his relationship with fellow conservative power players like Sarah Palin will be a bit more hunky-dory as well. Video of Hannity and Roves back-and-forth below.

When O’Donnell won the primary race there was a powerful force that hit the airwaves to do his best to break her momentum and to paint a permanent, soundbity, perfect democrat ad material, negative image on her during that week of fresh, victorious publicity, and it was Karl Rove. He bloodied her worse than anyone in the entire campaign, and he did it during the week when she should have owned the positive publicity, Rove knew exactly what he was doing and why, and he knew that he was delivering gifts of gold to the Democrat candidate.
He has never done that to anyone before, I don’t recall ever seeing someone go after their own candidate in such a manner.
I don’t understand why you are taking FR and freepers to task for their call to get rid of Rove for his treachery and efforts to lose us that Senate seat.
Paranoia is not a healthy reaction ... Lets say you are right and what Rove did was beyond the pale . That he is out to destroy O’Donnell ..... to what end?
It makes no sense.
If what Rove did was “wrong’ (and I am not so sure it was) then it seems more plausible to me that he was having a emotional human reaction because he thought if the other guy won Republicans would definitely control the senate
Control of the senate is a good thing
Rove has spent his whole life working for candidates..... and knows politics inside and out.
Here you have a thread in which Rove says good things about the candidate ...and yet he is still being castigated.

Here is a whole other thread in in which what Rove did is mis characterized and people are bashing Rove for no reason ..... Its an over the top response
You can stop your name calling and insults against we freepers for one thing, there is no need to personalize this.
That week of Rove’s work against O’Donnell has caused a national uproar.
Have you ever seen seen Rove or any other party big wheel go after the GOP nominee like he did against O’Donnell? That was an effort to deliver that seat into Democrat hands to damage the individuals and the conservative movement that led her to victory.
We knew that the Romney/Rockefeller wing of the GOP was going to make the Delaware race a fight to the death, but we did not know that it would go past the primary, into the general.
Rove says he supports her and would vote for her if in DE. If you don’t believe him that’s another story.
Quit being fooled by the mere words and look at the deeds.
Can’t stand him, Fox will lose ratings by having him on, I won’t watch it when Rove is on, I turn it, and then end up never coming back to the channel ...
If Rove is your enemy you are in very deep trouble ....hate him a little if you need to ....don’t watch him if you want, but the aim of your gun is in the wrong direction
ask yourself this :
What would Ronald Reagan do?
You may be right about Rove. Just hard to believe that any Republican, let alone a conservative which he professes to be, would support the Marxist Coons over a true conservative.
Instead of making an emotion based knee jerk defense of Rove, out of misplaced loyalty, look at what he is doing here,
Reagan would condemn and work to remove from influence a republican that was so anti-conservative that he would work to sacrifice a republican Senate seat in service to that fight.
Have you ever seen seen Rove or any other party big wheel go after the GOP nominee like he did against ODonnell?
I think Reagan would laugh it off with a remark such as:
“ Karl Rove is an expert and as you all know experts are rarely correct about anything”
Have you ever seen seen Rove or any other party big wheel go after the GOP nominee like he did against ODonnell?
>>What would Ronald Reagan do?<<
He wouldn’t trash the Republican candidate and hand the Democrats soundbites, that’s for sure.
If someone asks him about anyone he will say what he thinks.
He often bashes Obama and points out that what he is doing makes no sense politically
Also he has slammed Murkowski a lot lately for doing what she is doing.
If you want, you can go to his website and email him and there is a good chance he will email you back. I exchanged several with him
but how would he handle Rove now?
Reagan had huge fights within his own party....but he believed at the end of the day you unite.
Have you ever seen seen Rove or any other party big wheel go after the GOP nominee like he did against ODonnell?
I’m starting to think that at some point you will finally have to say, no.
So you think you need Rove as your leader? I don’t. He can go jump in a lake.
HE is the one destroying the candidate. He did it intentionally. He did it reapeatedly.
If you think Reagan would be okay with that, or you have some need for Rove to be restored as some kind of “leader” (which he isn’t...the only thing he has led us to is where we are tright now...) I think you are seriously deluded.
Besides, this is the era of the Tea Party. Times have changed.
Ok I give up ....hate Rove all you want
Wooohoooo! Thanks1
When WE get stuck with a RINO; WE have to choose the “lesser of two evils”; but when the PEOPLE choose a conservative; THEY pitch a fit, and try to destroy them. Not playing that game anymore...
