Karl Rove continued his media rounds tonight with a satellite appearance on Hannity, which he used to discuss Christine ODonnells appearance last night on the same program. After his much-talked about criticism of ODonnell in the past week, its safe to say after hearing her last night, Rove is coming around.
Rove tempered his own positive thoughts by noting how far behind she still is in the polls, but called her overall performance in last nights interview a very good sign that she can get people to pay attention to her. Most notably, he said ODonnell handled the witchcraft issue great that witchcraft issue, of course, being a major point of contention of Roves.
In addition, he praised her for being more forthcoming about why she fell behind on her mortgage ODonnell told Hannity it was because she was doing pro bono PR work for a client, which left her unable to pay. He also liked that shes bringing seasoned operatives aboard for her campaign.
Rove acknowledged there are still questions he has about ODonnell hes still unsure what to make of her federal tax lien from the 2005 tax year, for example but overall seemed duly impressed and said shes on the right course, which is to recognize you got a problem. You cant solve a problem if you think, Hey, everybodys hunky-dory and I can just ignore these things.
Maybe now that Rove appears to be getting on the ODonnell bandwagon, his relationship with fellow conservative power players like Sarah Palin will be a bit more hunky-dory as well. Video of Hannity and Roves back-and-forth below.

Tonight was only a minor improvement for Rove. He said a few positive things about O’Donnell, but he still can’t break himself of itemizing what he still views as problem areas that have to be addressed He needs to keep his mouth shut and stop doing the oppositions work for them.
I think he’d still rather be able to say “I told you so” than to see O’Donnell win.
Castle is a closet democrat, what’s the difference?
You have some interesting posts on FReeRepublic . So much so that I would ask you to fill out your Home page on this forum so we know a little about you.
What State and anything else you might want to say would be just great
Who gives a flying CRAP whether or not Rove “comes around”?!
Anyone who looks to Rove as “one of us” after all he’s done, needs their head examined. Like he’s some kind of leader of something?
Get a clue, people!!! He showed us who he is. Wise up.
I still think that folks like Krauthammer and Rove have root issues with Christianity and Conservatism.
That is not often discussed but it is much more prominent than being allowed in the debates about this.
Frankly, many libertarian types have such issues. Evangelicals and social conservatives are triangulated against by fiscal conservatives, libertarians, and democrats of all stripes.
As the Kingpin of seasoned operatives, Mr. Rove knows when to hold and when to fold.
Remember, to the seasoned operatives, politics is not just a passion or hobby - it’s a paycheck. Their income depends on their ability to convince someone that they’re smarter and better able to read the tea-leaves than anyone else.
So don’t be too hard on Mr. Rove. We should know what he is and what he does better than anyone.
Once a Redcoat always a Redcoat. Rove can't get off that easy. Throw him into the harbor and tell him to start swimming...east!
Baloney. These are serious times. He made a big mistake and must pay for it or others will think they can get away with it also. What are you a liberal advocating a lighter sentence, a rehibilition program instead of the hard time he deserves.
Agree, his goose is cooked.
He’s have to spend a long time in “foot in mouth” rehab to regain the position he once held.
Fox needs to put him on suspension for being so agressively biased on air.
“We Report You Decide”??????????
Balony! Rove is the same Rove that he was. He has just changed tactics. And is just looking for a soft spot in the back to stick the knife. He thinks that the idiots are too stupid to realize it. Are they? Time will tell. Trust Rove at your own peril. Leopards cannot change their spots.
My thoughts also.
Castle is a puke, IMO. Good riddance.
I agree that he showed his true colors. Trust him at your peril.
Tokyo Rove is weak-sauce. Hoisted by his own petard. The original "Stupid Party" enabler.
Had Karl Rove lied when first asked about O’Donnell and said she was a shoein . would this crowd of Rove haters be loving him?
This stupidity (blindly hating Rove) has made Freepers look a whole lot like the crowd at DU
Vote for Coons if you hate her so bad. With people like Castle it would not matter if there were 99 Republicans in the Senate, the one Democrat would still control it as was proved with the last “Republican” majority. One thing that you and the Establishment Republicans have in common is that both of you get off on being the Democrat’s butt boys and whipping boys.
Step in something you wish you hadn't there big guy?
Damn right!! and there are our fellow FReepers tonight that fall for this bastards words/actions!! just hard to believe! this rove kid is not with us! he, and his saudi muslim loving bush family, can just go....
