Too soon to tell yet. Depends mostly on how bad the economy is through most of 2012 and who the GOP candidate is and how the GOP candidate does in the campaign.
Biggest danger is over-confidence. The conservative cause still has a lot of work to do, a lot of hearts and minds to win.

Obama’s Approval Rating is hovering around 43% dissaproval
American’s that think Obama is a Muslim 20%

If we get hit by a terrorist attack on our soil, especially if the perps came here through the southern border, the public out cry will force him to resign in humiliation before he finishes his first term.

We certainly got one of the 'basest of men' as our 'ruler' this last go-around (and a bevy of base men and women holding onto the reins of Congress) ... may we as a Nation humble ourselves and pray; and turn from our wicked ways, and seek our Lord's face.
