Obama is a ONE-term President because: Abraham Lincoln once said: "With public sentiment, nothing can fail; without it, nothing can succeed". Obama is a ONE-term President because: 64% of Americans think its wrong to build a mosque near ground zero, 15% of voters LIKE New Health Care Plan - think it should be implemented as is, 42% think it should be changed, 36% would repeal it all, 45% think changes go TOO far, 62% of Americans believe the United States is on the decline, and 56% of Americans believe America is moving away from Capitalism and to Socialism. OBAMA is NOT LISTENING TO AMERICANS! Obama is a ONE-term President because: Obama is the FIRST president in 110 years to miss the annual Army-Navy Football Game, The FIRST president to not attend any Christmas religious observance, and the FIRST president to stay on vacation after a terrorist attack. Obama is a ONE-term President because: Nearly half of the 1.3 million homeowners who enrolled in the Obama administration's flagship mortgage-relief program have fallen out.
"The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the Constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first." Thomas Jefferson Obama stance on Immigration is unacceptable. Here are some facts why:
83% of warrants for murder in Phoenix are for illegal aliens.
86% of warrants for murder in Albuquerque are for illegal aliens.
75% of those on the most wanted list in Los Angeles, Phoenix and Albuquerque are illegal aliens.
24.9% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals
40.1% of all inmates in Arizona detention centers are Mexican nationals
48.2% of all inmates in New Mexico detention centers are Mexican nationals
29% (630,000) convicted illegal alien felons fill our state and Federal prisons at a cost of $1.6 billion annually
53% plus of all investigated burglaries reported in California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona and Texas are perpetrated by illegal aliens.
50% plus of all gang members in Los Angeles are illegal aliens
71% plus of all apprehended cars stolen in 2005 in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and California were stolen by Illegal aliens or "transport coyotes".
47% of cited/stopped drivers in California have no license, no insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of that 47%, 92% are illegal aliens.
63% of cited/stopped drivers in Arizona have no license, no insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of that 63%, 97% are illegal aliens
66% of cited/stopped drivers in New Mexico have no license, no insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of that 66% 98% are illegal aliens.
380,000 plus "anchor babies" were born in the US to illegal alien parents in just one year, making 380,000 babies automatically US citizens (which is UN-Constitutional; illegal).
97.2% of all costs incurred from those illegal births were paid by the American taxpayers. That is almost ALL of them.
President Obama's plans to stimulate America have all failed. The perfect example that explains all of them in a nut shell is this:
Ignore all the gas stuff and just look at how the stupid car buyer got taken to the cleaners:
If you traded in a clunker worth $3500, you get $4500 off for an apparent "savings" of $1000.
However, you have to pay taxes on the $4500 come April 15th (something that no auto dealer will tell you). If you are in the 30% tax bracket, you will pay $1350 on that $4500.
So, rather than save $1000, you actually pay an extra $350 to the feds. In addition, you traded in a car that was most likely paid for. Now you have 4 or 5 years of payments on a car that you did not need, that was costing you less to run than the payments that you will now be making.
But wait; it gets even better: you also got ripped off by the dealer?| For example, every Ford dealer was selling the Ford Focus with all the goodies, including A/C, auto transmission, power windows, etc for $12,500 the month before the "cash for clunkers" program started.
When "cash for clunkers" came along, they stopped discounting them and instead sold them at the list price of $15,500. So, you paid $3000 more than you would have the month before... (Honda, Toyota , and Kia played the same list price game that Ford and Chevy did).
So let's do the final tally here:
You traded in a car worth: $3500 You got a discount of: $4500 - Net so far +$1000 But you have to pay: $1350 in taxes on the $4500 - Net so far: -$350 And you paid: $3000 more than the car was selling for the month before - Net -$3350
We could also add in the additional taxes (sales tax, state tax, etc.) on the extra $3000 that you paid for the car, along with the 5 years of interest on the car loan, but let's just stop here.
So who actually made out on the deal? The feds collected taxes on the car along with taxes on the $4500 they "gave" you. The car dealers made an extra $3000 or more on every car they sold along with the kickbacks from the manufacturers and the loan companies. The manufacturers got to dump lots of cars they could not give away the month before. And the poor, stupid consumer got saddled with even more debt that they cannot afford.
Obama and his band of merry men convinced Joe consumer that he was getting $4500 in "free" money from the "government" when in fact, Joe was giving away his $3500 car and paying an additional $3350 for the privilege.
Think this was stupid?

NO by Jude Coyle
Is Barack Obama a one term President? My answer is no.
He's began with a bang, fulfilling some of his promises, and attempting to clean up the mess left behind by the previous administration. In my opinion, he hasn't gone far enough. If he had committed more money to the Stimulus, the 'Summer of Recovery' would have indeed been so, and if he had included a public option in the health care bill, it would be more effective. And we do need greater reforms for Wall Street. He did the best he could with the people he had to work with.
If he never signs another bill, good or bad, I still say that he will be elected to a second term, just simply because the Republicans are continually shooting themselves in the feet. Follow my reasoning:
1. The Republicans have embraced the Tea Party movement as an extension of themselves, and there are a number of good candidates coming from their ranks. There are also a number of far right nut jobs, ranging from Sharron Angle who runs every time a journalist asks her a question, to Michele Bachmann who called for an investigation of Congress because some members aren't 'American' enough, to Rand Paul who declared that the deaths caused by accidents like the oil spill in the Gulf and recent mine disasters are part of the cost of doing business.
2. Take the British Petroleum oil spill in the Gulf. People in that part of the country are still struggling to get back to where they were before Hurricane Katrina hit. It's much better than it was, but it's a long way from rebuilding everything. It's like getting hit with a double whammy. First Katrina and now the spillage in the Gulf. The very same people who lost their homes to Katrina are now losing their livelihoods because of the contamination of fishing grounds caused by the leak.
BP has underplayed the devastation from day one, and tried to avoid paying claims. When President Obama secured a promise from them to set up funds to pay claims, Senator Joe Barton apologized to BP's CEO, Tony Hayward. Congressmen Michele Bachmann and John Boehner have made similar statements.
3. Republicans have remarked that the best encouragement for the unemployed to get back to work is to cut off unemployment compensation, and have even filibustered extensions. After all, the deficit is huge. Even though there are on average six applicants for every job, some right wing pundits like Glenn Beck, George Will and Michelle Malkin have gone as far as to suggest that the long term unemployed would rather take a hand out than work. They haven't considered that a large chunk of the long term unemployed are older and many have used their 401K's just to survive. They also haven't considered the unemployment is barely enough to survive off of.
4. Now let's talk about taxes. The Republicans in Congress are calling for an extension of the Bush tax cuts which are due to expire at the beginning of the year. President Obama plans to extend them to anyone making less than $250,000. Republicans claim that extending them to the top two percent will encourage the growth of small businesses. As we all know more Americans are employed by small businesses than by the multinationals. What the Republicans aren't saying is that very few of our top wage earners are small business owners. They are mostly executives employed by multinational corporations, the same corporations that sent our jobs overseas.
At the same time the Republicans have expressed concern over a growing deficit. Most economists say that the best and easiest way to decrease the deficit is not to extend the Bush tax cuts. Instead, Leader Mitch McConnell of the Senate suggested cuts to Social Security and Medicare.
5. Some Republicans have embraced legislation like Arizona's 'Show me your Papers' act and have lost the greater portion of their Hispanic supporters because of it. Where Hispanics call for comprehensive immigration reform, Republicans, like John McCain, call for more and higher walls between us and Mexico, and repealing of the 14th Amendment.
6. Then there's the just say 'no' policy. With the exception of the two Senators from Maine, Olympia Snow and Susan Collins, every Republican Senator has voted against or to block any legislation or appointments backed by President Obama. They voted no to Health Care Reform, to extending unemployment compensation, Wall Street Reform, and to providing credit to small business owners. There are a number of bills that haven't been introduced in the Senate yet because of the filibusters brought on by Republicans. Republicans in the House voted down extending health care benefits to Ground Zero first responders. It's amazing that President Obama has been able to pass the little that he has.
7. Way back in President Reagan's first year in office, he admonished fellow Republicans for turning on each other. This has been a hard, fast law within the Party ever since. When a Republican runs into the kind of trouble that could cause a scandal, party bosses deal with it internally. This, they believe is good because it is living up to Reagan's edict.
It's a different tune when during a primary, Republicans tear each other to shreds. In 2000 President Bush's supporters spread rumors that John McCain had been brainwashed while incarcerated in a North Vietnamese POW Camp, and even ran ads during the primary questioning McCain's patriotism.
In the last primary Mike Huckabee was taken to task for granting a convicted felon clemency when Huckabee served as Governor of Arkansas. According to an editorial written by Michelle Malkin, the same felon, Maurice Clemmons, later murdered four police officers in Lakewood, Washington.
Who could forget Sarah Palin's run for the office of Vice President, and her gaffs about 'seeing Russia from her yard,' or all the newspapers she read? Add that to the fact that eighteen months into her first term as Governor of Alaska, she resigned.
Mitt Romney, first off is a Mormon. Even if it is a Christian religion, it isn't one that many people outside of Utah are comfortable with. Some people equate it with polygamy and hold it to a cult-like status. As Governor of Massachusetts, Mr. Romney saw to the passage of health care reform throughout his State. Obamacare is loosely based on Romneycare, and as we all heard over the past year, the first thing Republicans plan to do when they are back in power is to repeal Obamacare.
Newt Gingrich was charged with 84 ethics violations when he was Speaker of the House in 1994. Eight-three charges were dropped, although he was reprimanded and fined for making false statements. He was instrumental in the impeachment for President Bill Clinton sprouting from Clinton's affair with Monica Lewinski. At the same time Gingrich was rumored to be having an affair with the woman who later became his third wife. According to rumor, his first marriage fell apart when he had an affair with the woman who became his second wife.
Huckabee, Romney, Palin and Gingrich are considered the four top contenders for the 2012 presidential race. Unless the Republican Party can produce someone new and fresh, they have no one to offer that isn't damaged goods in the eyes of the electorate. It isn't likely that they would nominate someone 'fresh' simply because it is their habit to nominate the next in line, and Republicans are creatures of habit.
8. Finally, the Ground Zero Mosque controversy has invigorated the right. I mention this only because Fox News outwardly supports the Republican Party, and has donated one million dollars to the Republican Governors' Election Fund. This week they blasted the man they want us to believe is funding the Ground Zero Mosque. He is the head of Kingdom Foundation, and he was also the Saudi prince who offered ten million dollars to Mayor Rudi Giuliani in the wake of the tragedies of September 11th. Giuliani turned it down. Fox News didn't name this man, and for good reason. Al-Waleed bin Talal is the largest minority owner of News Corp., which is Fox News' parent company. In other words Fox News is accusing one of its owners of funding terrorist activities while at the same time lining his pockets with our money. Americans hate to be made fools of, and we will remember this when it comes time to vote.
Again, in my opinion, the economy can tank and health care can collapse in on itself. President Obama could be caught with six interns. If the Republicans don't start considering what the long term effects of their actions and statements are, they will not win the next Presidential election.
Honestly, I’d like to see him removed before this term is up.
I do not think America, as we know it, will survive 2 terms of this
I hope not!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Just kidding. If he gets elected for a second term I may actually move to Australia. At least I can drink their beer, so I can get drunk enough to stop caring about reality. Seems to work for my Aussie friends.
Yes.
I actually think that one term is one term too long
No.
He hasn't even started to serve a single legitimate term yet.
Are California’s money makers leaving....
Depends on how many ‘new voters’ they can con, and by the last election, there are plenty...
Do we really have to put up with his bs that long?
I do not think America, as we know it, will survive 2 terms of this
***************
Nor do I. It is not a sure thing we can recover from our present position. BO is merely an accelerant to bad policy that has been going on for decades, however. He may have inadvertently done us all a favor. By acting with such speed and clumsiness, he has set off every burglar alarm in the house.
Hmm let me look at some stats...
Obama’s Approval Rating is hovering around 43% dissaproval
American’s that think Obama is a Muslim 20%
So I PRAY America is waking up to what a Disgracefull Failure Barry has been.......YES
If we get hit by a terrorist attack on our soil, especially if the perps came here through the southern border, the public out cry will force him to resign in humiliation before he finishes his first term.
The nitwit actually believes that Obasturd’s “stimulus” didn’t work because it wasn’t big enough!
I agree.
Even if the GOP controlled all 3 branches it might be too late
or less...
