Top Democrats are firing back at House candidate Ben Quayle, son of former Vice President Dan Quayle, for running a new campaign ad that slashes President Obama by calling him "the worst president in history."
Brad Woodhouse, spokesman for the Democratic National Committee, told CNN that the candidate for a U.S. House seat from Arizona has no standing to judge Obama.
"The son of the worst vice president ever may think he has some wisdom on the job performance of political leaders, but if he thinks a president whose actions have saved the country from a second Great Depression, reformed a broken health care system and protected consumers from the risk and greed of Wall Street merits such mention, his analysis is only slightly less ridiculous than his candidacy for public office is," said Woodhouse.(continued)

Aren't they forgetting someone? Or maybe this is just a shot at former VPs.
bye-den will certainly take Quayle's place once 2012 throws him and the king of America out on their respective cans.
Good for Quayle! This should break him out of the 10 man race. Let’s hope MSNBC keeps running the spot and getting him some coverage.
Woodhouse should take his nose out of Hussein Obama’s Kenyan butt for a few minutes and look around. The Muslim Marxist is destroying and bankrupting this country. Good for Ben Quayle for having the guts to say what the RNC leadership is too afraid to say.
Ben Quayle is Joe Biden's son ?
Truth is a tough pill to swallow for liberals - it usually freaks them out.
Read it again.
LOL
No, Al Gore's...
“Obama worst president ever”
“Democrats caused the economic collapse”
“Democrats are going to jack the taxes up on low and middle income”
“Biggest deficits ever by any political party”
Those things above are what should be coming out of all Republicnans’ mouths every time there is a microphone in front of them or they are on the TV political talk shows. Put the Democrats on the defensive.
Well, let's see... Avoided second great depression by forcing nearly ten percent of the workforce into not even bothering to look for a job anymore. Buys off another tenth of the workforce with a nearly neverending stream of unemployment checks, while at the same time spending trillions to feed unions and public employees. Reformed the health care system? I've yet to see word one from the Feds on how this is actually supposed to work, and I'm sure there's quite a few people working hard on trying to figure that out right now. But you can be sure that we'll get taxed more, given less service, and get to support tens of millions of others who can't be bothered to spend $70 a month for their own health insurance by paying five to seven times that much out of the taxpayer's pockets.
And Wall Street reform? I mean, come on, who the bleep cares. I can change bankers, I can lose money on investments, if they wanted real reform they'd say 'Hey, you're on your own.' Instead the worst is still out there, feeding on us like the prey we are, IE: public employees, who are slowly bankrupting us with ever increasing demands for salaries, benefits and retirement deals. If the Federal Government had to follow the same rules as Wall Street, the dollar would be a delisted penny stock.
Obama is the worst and still worsting.
I wonder if Mr Quayle is getting a little revenge over the unfair smears that his dad got. Is he a little ticked over hearing his father called stupid?
I hope he wins and makes the liberals brown their Depends.

No standing? No standing!? He's an American citizen. Every American citizen has "standing" to question our elected representatives.

Ah, typical lib tactic - personal attack when you have no good argument. What his father did or did not do in office has absolutely no bearing on his qualifications, or his freedom to criticize hussein. Really, I'd like this guy to tell me why he wrote this, how this in any way addresses the issue. It really is just a personal attack, and reflects worse on him than the candidate.
...a president whose actions have saved the country from a second Great Depression,
You lie. Even the administration's own economists put the effect of porkus at only about 2 to 3% GDP. That's the optimistic ones. The recession took something like 2 to 4% out of the economy. Economists generally say it takes a 10% dip in GDP to qualify as a depression. So by their own numbers, even if porkus hadn't happened, we would've been no-where near a depression. hussein and his cohorts in crime took advantage of another crisis, that's all.
...reformed a broken health care system
Wow, two lies in one. First, the health care system wasn't broken. Widely recognized as the best health care in the world. Second, their so-called "reform" wasn't a reform at all. In fact it isn't even much about health care or health care insurance. It is about power and control. Our health care suffering is just collateral damage.
...protected consumers from the risk and greed of Wall Street...
Oh, we're protected all right. Yes, business will look for opportunities to make money. But don't worry, they won't be looking to consumers - the government is confiscating all our money via taxes and imposed fees and mandatory purchases of "insurance."
Methinks someone hit a raw nerve there ....
Quayle was destroyed by a biased press that lied constantly. That is harder to do with the internet. Chrissy Matthews was one of them that flat out lied.
Yea, the first thing the scum do is attack someone’s family (like Palin’s Downs Syndrome child). So Quayle should come back with ...”and his wife is the ugliest alleged woman and has the fattest ass I’ve even seen...
He didn't. He was given cards. It was a setup.
Quayle let them put him in a box,
There wasn't an internet to expose the press. There's at least one occasion that they flat out lied about his wife.
Quayle was destroyed by what my good friend Lawrence Ward, the president of PoliticalMedia.com, has called “Caricature Assassination.” The leftwing media creates a caricature of the conservative enemy and then piles on the ridicule.
Quayle’s problem was that he was too much of a gentleman to come out swinging and take the bastards heads off. Hopefully, his son learned the lesson: Give no quarter; take no prisoners.
