The one thing I will guarantee you about Sarah Palin if she wins the GOP nomination: she will get the conservatives in America so sky-high to vote in 2012 that they will crawl on their bellies if they have to get to the polls.
The image I always wanted to see in Sarah riding into DC with a rifle hitting liberal targets as she came into town.
It’s just natural that one wouldn’t have anything good/nice to say about the person one fears the most.
Chrissy is understandably very afraid of Sarah Palin.
On a side note, just kinda wondering why this crap was posted here.
“Those three Ladies are the only ones I am excited about in 2012. McCain is a manchurian, Romney is horrible, Jeb is a tainted globalist, and Huckabee, well.”
They Impress me and are Americans to the core.
Like it or not, I think we need a Conservative candidate with a Libertarian streak. I think we should make personal freedoms an issue in the next general election.
TRANSLATION:
The GOP establishment is having serious doubts about Mitt Romney and his ability to get the ball across the goal line against Sarah Palin and they are leaking that feeling to the MSM anonymously.
Consider it a shot across the bow of Romney to force Mitt to shape up or ship out or a trial balloon to see how well Jeb would be received by GOP primary voters if he were to enter the mix? Bottom line: The GOP establishment and Beltway elites are extremely concerned or worried about Palin’s current momentum that she has had over the past two months since in mid-May endorsing the Arizona illegal immigration law standing on the same stage as Governor Jan Brewer and culminating on Thursday with the PPP monthly poll showing Palin tied with Obama at 46% in a head to head matchup. They need someone serious in the bullpen right away.
How are the anti-Palin forces on the right supposed to now make the case that Palin is unelectable when she is 19 points ahead of Obama among WHITE VOTERS (55% TO 36%) and if that type of separation held up in the general election, Palin could beat Obama decisively.
Back to the drawing board. Damn you maverick!
We let the media pick our 2008 candidate. We can’t let this happen in 2012.
Jeb says, “We need to move past Reagan.” I say, “We need to move past the Bush family.”
Not No but h e double hockeysticks NO
As much as we loved JEB here as the gov of FL, he does have one very big streak of RINO in him — his love of illegals. He’s smarter than the rest of the family and the most conservative of his whole family, but he’s still amnesty all the way.
Chrissy and the dems may love the idea of bashing a Bush and the RINOs may see that there is no one else in the party with the gravitas to stop Sarah Palin, so they will be looking at JEB longingly. But I believe JEB is too smart to enter the race, he understands the situation very well and hopefully will continue to take aim at Obama’s silliness from the sidelines.
So Sarah ISN’T qualified but Hussein IS??!!! Yeah. Right, Mr. leg tingle.
Touche!
I agree with you on all points except on your assertion that “Jeb is too smart to enter the race”.
Here is why I think Palin will enter the race. Sit out 2012 and she risks Romney being elected and having to wait till 2020 when she is 8 years older and yesterday’s news and Romney’s VP being touted as the favorite in 2020 whether Romney wins in 2016 or not. And if Obama wins, then Jeb will definitely enter in 2016 and perhaps stop Palin in her tracks with the Bush machine.
Jeb may be thinking along the same lines. The more viable Palin becomes the greater the possibility she can beat Obama and serve 2 terms and that leaves Jeb out in the cold till 2020 unless Palin picks him as VP.In 2020 Jeb will be 67. Yes 2016 appears ideal for him but can he bank on it that Palin is not going to get the nomination and then upset Obama. He has a lot riding on his judgment of whether Palin can beat Obama in 2012. If Jeb gets serious about 2012, you know he believes that Palin has a decent shot.
Jeb Bush wouldnt beat the O-zone
jeb has as much of a chance at the nomination as al gore does... no way... NO MORE BUSHES!
LLS
How about Jim DeMint? I could support him.
You can continue to practice the Big Lie technique, but it has little effect on thinking conservatives.
The "quitter" meme has been debunked to death on this very website. Find something else to challenge Sarah Palin on, if you really oppose her.
Gallup has Sarah Palin at 44/44 in her F/UF with independents (courtesy of Greg Sargent of the Plum Line) and in a head to head matchup PPP has Palin beating Obama with independents 47% to 42%.
All is not as bleak with indie voters as it once appeared for Palin. Oh by the way Gallup has Obama’s approval with independent voters at 38% in the last Gallup weekly summary.
No more Bush’s for me.
If the Repubs run Bush they can KMA.
