Heres a new entry into the GOP 2012 presidential field (and by new I mean so old hes new again): Jeb Bush. On his show this morning Chris Matthews pondering who might beat Barack Obama in 2012? This of course is the question plaguing the Republican Party. For all the attention and hoopla surrounding Sarah Palin no one is really convinced that even if she could snag the Republican nomination she has any shot at beating President Obama in the general.
Matthews points out that what Jeb the Bush brother the family had originally intended for the White House has going in his favor is executive experience, crisis experience, and hes popular with Hispanics (the amount of Republicans that can be said for is ever-diminishing), plus he has some credit with the Tea Partiers. Also, he apparently has not been exactly denying the speculation of late.
Norah ODonnell thinks Bush would make a formidable candidate and that if he does get in the race Sarah Palin would have to change her image drastically: Two thirds of Americans still think that she is not qualified to be President of the United States, and she has not proven that she has the organizational skills to put a team together.
Howard Fineman notes that while the Bush brand may be damaged nationally they are still strong in the royalist Republican party.
John Heilemann points out that what Jeb has going for him is that he is a serious conservative who positive ideas: Hes not just a Party of No, guy. Weve got a helluva story if he does, concluded Matthews. Watch below.

The Left would like nothing better than to see Jeb win the nomination.
One thing I can't stand is some one trying to promote changing my attitude as to I want to vote for.
I hate it almost as much as someone insisting upon a woman being elected regardless of political direction just because they are a woman.
Sara Palin has got the confidence of the people, just not the lame stream media jerks.
Pretty funny coming from the party that idolizes "Camelot."
Someone actually thinks the old drunk Christina Mathews brain dead babble makes any sense ?
Please.
It is my opinion from having visited that site previously that it is as bias as Politico to the Left. It appears to be trying as you say to pick Jeb Bush to be our candidate, and denigrate Sarah Palin as a potential POTUS.
I’d believe it’s just Leftist Hog Wash, and personally NOT going to bother entertaining their fantasies.
NO MORE BUSH’S!
As for Matthews, nothing a good scrape of the bottom of my shoes couldn't fix.
LMAO Jeb ????? Never Ever!! No Drill,Open Border Moron, it will be a Female Palin ,Brewer,Bachmann from the looks of the shape up.
Sorry, Jeb, no way!
:D
This message endorsed by the racist bitch Jesse Jackson.
Maybe it depends on if we’re running against Biteme or HRC, Chris.
Have it checked if a sudden tingle in the leg is felt though, it could be a serious condition if felt. ; )
Another Bush to bash! The liberal media cannot hide the drool at the very prospect...
Remember, Jeb is from the same family that supports illegals in America....in more ways than one.
Jeb Bush is hardly a RINO, and he is about a million times more qualified to be president than Palin. Jeb Bush had 2 successful terms as Governor of FL; Palin couldn’t make it through 1 term in Alaska. However, thanks to the left wing media, the Bush name might be radioactive poison for the average voter.
Those three Ladies are the only ones I am excited about in 2012. McCain is a manchurian, Romney is horrible, Jeb is a tainted globalist, and Huckabee, well.
