BOISE, Idaho Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin had to quickly buy a new outfit before a rally in Idaho on Friday because her luggage got lost.
Republican congressional hopeful Vaughn Ward introduced Palin before about 1,500 people and said she and her family arrived on time in Boise but their bags did not.
Palin appeared in a shimmery light-blue jacket worn over a black, knee-length dress and joked: "I'm in borrowed clothes, again," referring to the designer clothes controversy during the 2008 presidential campaign.
A spokesman says the Ward campaign bought the outfit from a Boise shop and Palin reimbursed it with a check for $298.50.
Ward meets rival state Rep. Raul Labrador on Tuesday for the GOP nomination for Idaho's 1st Congressional District.(continued)

I accidentally left off the /sarc/ tag...
I bet she flew Alaska Air since this was for a political rally and not related to her private business.
In the pic, Todd’s walking right behind her. He’s probably enough if some lib whack job tried to jump them inside the airport.
Not bad for $298.00. I got a new black suit (my Sarah Palin suit, LOL) and it was close to $375.
Whenever you see my name, always consider the probability that /sarc/ is in use — even if I forget to so mark it.
I think one of the best ways to ridicule is to use your enemy’s — and make no mistake, they ARE an enemy — own language.
The typical tyrannical pompous ass won’t even see it, the half-convinced will see the logical clash, and the incisive thinker will catch the joke from the top.
Trig is looking good, too.
Exactly what I was thinking. Somebody probably thought that they'd get some inside information on her if they stole her luggage. I'd bet that they thought wrong, though.

Well, what I want to know is if she is going to return them, and who paid for them? LOL ...
Nor Uranus for that matter.
sorry...
It's a lot more newsworthy than, say, a flood causing billions of dollars of damage (not to mention killing at least 20 people) in Nashville. I mean, who cares about those bible-clingin', gun-totin' crackers anyway. They're nowhere near as important as Sarah's luggage!
Seriosly? This is news? THere is NOTHING else going on in the world...THIS has to be covered.
Well..., her clothes were big news in the 2008 Presidential Campaign and election ... so I imagine those same people will be very interested in Palin's clothes, now, too ... :-)
Todd? The webpage link won’t work for me. Where’s Todd?! Ya know it would be a shame if he lost his luggage and all he had to show up in was a hotel towel. Just a diggity darn shame! ;)
SEIU & ACORN (under a new name) sent about 500 thugs to a Bank of America lawyer’s house to terrorize him the other day. They fear Governor Palin much more than a bank. I’m not worried about some flake insulting her or striking her with his man purse, I’m concerned with assassination, acid throwing or something similar.
THAT is a hilarious photo. And Sarah has the most beautiful eyes. Geez, no wonder she wears the glasses to be taken seriously.
“Seriosly? This is news? THere is NOTHING else going on in the world...”
.
Sarah Palin is without question the most significant person in the world at this point. The news articles prove it.
.
Nevermind, the pic just showed up for me on the thread.
My body does not enter any plane not made by Boeing!
MD 88s and MD 90s suck big time.
.
No mention of Moo-Shell's $15000 designer dress at the party?
Settle dow girl! :o)
I she got some new calf boots.
