Senator Brown is unreachable and hiding? Here's an OPEN LETTER TO YOU.

Dear Backslider,

Your webpage at senate.gov is missing and your phone message box is filled. Hiding won't help. Let this open letter find you Mr. Brown.

Yesterday I received a letter from you Senator which thanked me for my generous contribution to you.

Then I learned you plan to vote to continue destroying jobs in Amerika by borrowing more money from the Chinese and wasting it like the last trillion or two... or three. Naturally sliding the debt off on my children and grandchildren.

You are a 1 timer so get used to it. Fool me once... NEVER AGAIN!

Just what I was afraid of... another backslider republikan like Olympia Snowe.

Remove my name from any future contact.

D R Visalia, CA

Will Brown go Jeffries-Spector? Or will he honor the origin and heart of Massachusetts and re-commit to the Constitution and moral sanity?

Considering that Brown is still standing firm on Healthcare and Cap-n-Tax, I wouldn't get too wound up about this vote. Remember where he comes from and who he replaced ... there's no comparing a $15B make-work bill to those trillion-dollar crap sandwiches.

On this one, IHMO, he should get a mulligan. But we definitely need to continue to let him know who took him to the dance, and our patience with big gov spending is very thin.

A man who not only took his clothes off for a Cosmo “spread,” but wasn’t years later even sorry for it? There had to be a clue in that situation somewhere. To add to that, he supports tiny children getting ripped apart limb by limb, and tossed into the trash, down the toilet (in a freezer?), wherever. Never trust a pro-abort. They are ALL the same. They can’t help themselves; through the allowance of abortion, they have chosen their evil leader.

I suspect that’s why his voice message box is full and his webpage down. Call 202 224-3121 and ask for Senator Brown’s office. FULL and NO ANSWER

Just wait on that until Harry Reid and Obama make him an offer he just can’t refuse... after all he’s working for the voters in MA. Then let’s see how he votes.

This is the danger of projecting your own desires on a comparatively blank sheet.

He’s going to block health-care, and that’s about how much you can expect from him.

Yes, he's been flooded with calls, e-mails and faxes.

I'm keeping my thank you letter, however. It's historic, regardless.

:)

I share your disappointment.

Brown was the first politician I ever volunteered for, the first one whose sign I placed in front of our home.

I share your anger too.

(Was in Visalia for a wonderful wedding in October. Every person I met was nicer than the one before.)

Women are 52% of the vote. I think his “open mindedness” gained more votes than it cost him.

Yep....but the idea was to show the conservative vote could change the equation...and it did... and Kennedy’s are done...what did people expect? He’s doing just what he said he would...I will reserve jusgement for a time yet...there are big issues ahead..see he he does then.

At that point, break out the torches and pitchforks. Like I said, he gets a pass on this one, but no more.

I spent 39 years in Wisconsin before bouncing around and settling here in 1991. I just made arrangements with the VA for burial for my wife and I in the Bakersfield National Cemetery. Here is where I’ll die. I agree. It’s a great place to raise a family in the heartland of Christian Conservative dairymen, ranchers and farmers.

It was a throw away vote and Harry Reid took it as a sign of ‘bi-partisanship,’ which gave me a laugh. Brown will vote with the democrats when his vote is of no consequence because he has to run for re-election in 2012.

Unfortunately, that’s true. I would think it would be embarrassing for his young daughters to have nudes of their father on the Web, and that he would be overly apologetic over his past dumb young errors, but no, he seems proud of the photographs, and the girls don’t seem to mind either. Ugh! That was my first tip-off that this guy wasn’t going to solve any problems. The other, of course, was his pro-abort stance. That is reviling at best, and isn’t there a way the Republican Party can just refuse a pro-abort? Why are they even allowed to run on the ticket?

He voted for more spending. Exactly the opposite of his campaign promises.

To make matters worse, he joined the stupid sisters in voting yes. snowe, collins, and voinovich.

The house jobs bill is over a hundred billion in more spending. the senate bill is fifteen billion. What does he think is going to happen when they reconcile those two bills.

MORE SPENDING

The main thing we wanted from Brown at the time was his vote to stop health-care. I would say that mission appears to have been accomplished. Anything more is pure gravy. It also looks like he will vote against cap and trade. I think some on this forum and others are reaching to far in expectations from Brown.

I am honestly surprised by the reaction of some here on FR. This guy is a dyed in the wool
MA republican. Throughout the campaign I just wanted him to vote against Obama care. Anything else was a bonus.

But the folks around here started making noise that he is the next coming of Reagan. HELLO! He is from MA!

You cannot get mad when a tiger acts like a tiger. No matter how much you hope he will act like a penguin. Its his nature.
