Loyalty doesn’t bug me. When they start sounding like McCain I’ll get miffed.

“she’d be “Sarah Who?” She owes him something”

Rush is right on. Only the Palin haters are stirring things up. That said I’m supporting JD with contributions and I don’t care how much money McQueeg spends or who supports him it will not change my mind on the back stabber.

She owes him something.

I would submit that she doesn't owe him her integrity.

McCain’s not that bad, folks. He’s a combination of ingredients.

We either adore or hate our politicians, which is a juvenile way to be. Is it because we enjoy being whipped up by the radio and TV talkers, just as we enjoy a good sports competition?

As usual, Rush is right.

Amen. I'm able to do something that a lot of people here aren't. I can walk and chew gum at the same time. I'm a big Palin supporter and completely understand why SHE is supporting John McCain. Does that mean that I want McCain to beat Hayworth? No. I'm mature enough to say "Sarah, I love you and what you stand for. I want you to be President. I understand why you are supporting McCain. Still I'm supporting the other guy. May the best guy win".

I'm sure she holds no grudges for anyone who prefers Hayworth, and I'm sure if Hayworth wins the primary, that she will support him, just as Hayworth has said that he will support McCain if McCain wins the primary.

Folks, it's really OK for Sarah to back McCain here. She would be a complete hypocrite if she didn't after being his VP choice 2 years ago. If you liked Sarah before, there is no reason to quit liking her now. Just grow up and face the fact that NOBODY, not even Sarah Palin is going to agree with you every day on every single issue. Are you going to let one disagreement over 1 candidate spoil it for you? She sure isn't going to let her love of Americans who prefer Hayworth spoil it. Grow up already.

I’ve always said, “Sarah, that ain’t rogue”... Here’s the Real Deal-y-o...

First, nothing can help John McCain. Sarah couldn’t get him into the White House and she’s not going to get him re-elected. Second, Sarah is spending political capitol to pay off a political debt. If she goes through with her support of John, she’s going to be laced with him, like an albatross around her neck till hell freezes over, and she’s going to have to accept what comes of it.

To the purist Tea Party affiliates she is already looking and sounding like the rest of the DC crowd, playing political games to stay relevant. To them she is slipping into the mold, not breaking it. To the purist, “political realities” do not matter. Sarah has to decide if being loyal to the scuzz that brought her to the dance is worth it, or, does she really, really, really go rogue, slap the scuzz down and walk out on him.

Sarah, he’s used you before and intends to do it again, he’s a scuzz Sarah... is it worth it to be loyal to a scuzz. I don’t care what Rush says, Sarah, you would do yourself a big, big favor is you parted ways with the Liberal Republican in conservative’s clothing. To us, John is a turn coat, always has been and always will be... hell girl, we only voted for him because you were on the ticket... be loyal to the folks that want to believe in you...

RUSH: “However, if you’re Sarah Palin, the one thing you know is that if it weren’t for John McCain, nobody would know who you are right now.”

I disagree with Rush Limbaugh on this response.

I knew exactly who Sarah Palin was before McCain picked her for her VP. I even lobbied for her on this form before he did facing much criticism from fellow FR posters in this forum for even doing so.

I knew about her before Rush, from William Kristol way before she was picked. IMO, she’d better off if McCain hadn’t picked her. I hope she runs for Senate.

McCain knows damn well the position his request for support from Sarah would cause. HE is trying to manipulate her popularity AGAIN for his benefit only, even if it destroys Sarah’s conservative credentials.

McCain is the snake he always has been...

Sarah is just an honest victim AGAIN!!!

I disagree with Rush. This backscratching is what is WRONG with Washigton D.C., political pay-back at the expense of WE THE PEOPLE! Palin mistakenly thought she owed McCain, but in actuality, McCai owes her for making the 2008 election even that close! She does not owe him anything, but she owes WE THE PEOPLE!

This election is for the voters of Arizona to decide on the issues. Each voter needs to analyze the qualifications of the candidates and vote accordingly. Their vote should not be determined by the machinations of outside agitators.
