Thank You To Senator John McCain For Standing Up To Obama / Democrat Wasteful Spending
E-Mail Message From Senator John McCain (Newsletter) ^ | January 25, 2010 | Senator John McCain

Posted on 01/25/2010 3:38:13 PM PST by real_patriotic_american

Enclosed are some excerpts from Senator John McCain's letter that he E-Mailed to his followers today. I'm pleased to see someone on Capital Hill who is standing up to Obama and the Democrats and their outrageous wasteful spending.....

"My Friend,

I have spent much of my career fighting against wasteful spending in Washington. I'm not afraid to speak out when I see taxpayer dollars wasted. And in all my years in public office, I have never seen spending as out of control as it is under the current Democratic leadership.

Our national debt has reached an all-time high of $12.4 trillion dollars as a result of the astonishing expansion of big government under President Obama. And now, Congressional Democrats want to raise our national debt ceiling by an additional $1.9 trillion. This is unconscionable.

If Democrats are successful in raising the debt ceiling, our country will have a budget deficit of nearly $14.3 trillion! It's outrageous and frightening to think of passing on such a staggering amount of debt to our children and grandchildren."

"It seems nearly every single elected Democrat has ignored the public's disapproval for their out of control spending. They are out-of-touch with every day American values and each national poll shows a majority of Americans agree with us."

"I've been a vocal opponent of the Obama agenda of wasteful spending, expansion of government, increased tax burdens on hardworking Americans, and the massive takeover of our health care system. I will continue to voice my disapproval for these failed policies."

I’ll agree that McCain AND the GOP should have challenged Obama’s lack of natural born citizenship.

You wrote- “Yeah, too bad McStain couldn’t find his ‘nads and ‘stand up’ to 0bama in the Fall of 2008, instead of throwing the election to the Kenyan wonderboy.”

McCain’s knowledge and experience in military affairs is 2nd to none.

You wrote-
“I was just listening to Roger Hedgecock trash Sarah Palin and suck up to JD Hayworth, then listened as JD proceeded to blame George W Bush for losing his Congressional seat. I thought I was listening to Obummer or a Democrat. I turned the radio off, better silence than Bullcrap. Man Up JD, and run for your old seat......You sounded like a loser.”

McCain doesn’t stand for anything other than McCain’s re-election.

Yeah, that McCAin sure stands up for US taxpayers...NOT

Here’s a McCain blunder I had forgetten, that I just found in my archives.

Saturday, February 09, 2008
Bill to improve health care…in Mexico! McCain strikes again!

What would Americans think, then, of a member of Congress who introduced legislation, not to improve health care in the United States, but to improve health care in Mexico?

Insane? Drunk? Unworthy of public office?

What would Americans think, then, of a bill introduced in Congress that required federal agencies to come up with a plan, not to expand health coverage in the United States, but to expand health coverage in Mexico?

Impossible? Unthinkable? Wildly irresponsible?

What would Americans think, then, of the motives of a senator, who not only introduced a bill to improve Mexico’s health care system and extend coverage to a growing population of 120 million people, but gave health insurance companies the right to help devise the plan?

Blatantly corrupt? Grossly indifferent to the well-being of the American people? Downright treasonous?

Unbelievable as it may seem, the Secure America and Orderly Immigration Act of 2005 contained a provision giving insurance companies the right to help devise a plan for extending US health care to Mexico (Sec. 1004. BINATIONAL PUBLIC HEALTH INFRASTRUCTURE AND HEALTH INSURANCE).

Even more unbelievable, the senator who sponsored the bill is not on the verge of being thrown out of office for this odious piece of legislation. No, the senator who introduced the bill, Senator John McCain of Arizona, is on the verge of locking up the Republican nomination to be our next president[snip]

IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES

FanTASTic find AuntB, I take my hat off to you!

Someone ought to fax this info to Sarah Palin, or post it on her Facebook page to maybe enlighten her about the phony she is endorsing. I do believe that if the truth can be told, and if she is made aware of stuff like this, that being the intelligent lady she is, she just might have some second thoughts about that McCain ‘endorsement’ and scale it back, if not retract it.

You are a true FR treasure AuntB, I can’t imagine FR without you!

Keep in mind that it’s McCain who opposes abortion and gay marriages.

...and is head-over-heels in love with the illegal aliens that are destroying the very fabric of this nation.

Thank you, mk. I agree that Palin is a smart lady. What I don’t understand is that she doesn’t know these things. It’s difficult for me to imagine she doesn’t. I expect my candidate to know more than I do.
