Thanksgiving produced many conversation, one surrounding the riches of eMeg, and if she is buying the governor's race for the GOP.
There seems to be a new mantra that says, Republicans are making a mistake in supporting wealthy candidates like Meg Whitman in the gubernatorial primary race; she is just too wealthy to be supported as a candidate.
After reading the bottom-line in the LA Times Wednesday, it seems that GOP voters are beside themselves.
How can we vote for a woman who has, and spends, so much of her own money?

Stupid. Like Arnold isn’t wealth!
Her money doesn’t bother me as much as her RINOcity does.
That should minimize the obligation to "pay back" contributors with legislation.
Should.
Money does not matter on who I vote for...hell Sarah’s rich now. The money is not the reason for no confidence in voting for her.....it is that she is a RINO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gosh these folks are dense.
Sure beats the hell out of ACORN stealing it for the DNC!
There - fixed it.
She’s just another elitist rather-rule-in-hell-than-not-at-all statist.
She destroyed eBay, to heck with her! I wouldn’t let her run a garbage dump.
She built it.
I don't believe it. Here we are on a forum that espouses free conservative thinking and total adherence to facts and truth, yet all of you are running around acting like G*d had spoken from heaven and printed it in the SRM through its op-ed and/or front pages. Next thing you know you'll be screaming for the very things those papers demand like very proper useful idiots.
Come on folks, stop taking the bait they throw your way. I know it is pure bravo sierra so I ignore it other than to see what weapons they intend to use on us.
Think of it this way, if you're playing high-stakes poker, do you accept advice from the only other remaining player at the table on how you should fold your winning hand and concede the winnings to him?
Or do you laugh at him after noting that you are making him nervous and raise the ante trying to force him to fold first?
Myself, I'd laugh and claim my winnings because his word is nothing to me. So it is with the SRM. Think about what they are trying to make you do BEFORE you react. They want us to fail. Don't let them.
PS: Have you even noticed how they don't take any of our advice??????
