It's Like Christmas In September: Senate Votes To End ACORN Funding

After three days and three videos (two of which are here and here) showing ACORN employees at three different ACORN locations aiding a pimp and his whore evade taxes, commit bank fraud, break immigration laws, and place children in dire situations, the Senate has voted to terminate all federal funding for the liberal front group and Barack Obama's favorite organization. Finally, a bill I can support out of this Democrat hell hole of a Congress. This comes just one day after the Census Bureau announced it will no longer use ACORN as an assistant during the national census next year.

There were seven dissenting votes on the ammendment, sponsored by Mike Johanns (R-NE), all of which were liberal Democrats and self proclaimed socialists. They are the usual suspects:

- Dick Durbin (D-IL) - Roland Burris (D-IL) - Robert Casey (D-PA) - Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) - Patrick Leahy (D-VT) - Bernie Sanders (I-VT) - Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI)

Hot Air is reporting that several Democrats voted against the amendment at the outset of the vote, only to change their minds. Many could be heard shouting, "I want to change my vote!"

Now stop any funding to the other people that are affiliated with ACORN..And sue them and get our money back that they used for illegal voting scams I am sure that ACORN bosses are being told to shred all documents so the FBI should get to them first..Looks like Obama might have a few more people out of jobs..Now lets go after the scum bags in Washington that are getting away with tax evasion..Like Rangel and Reed..Also go after the commie Czars that the Muslim hired..

If I’m not mistaken, all budgetary legislation has to originate in the House. Besides, 0 won’t sign it. I think this is just a big show, and is meaningless.
