Actually, the iconic ‘salute’ photo, was Jackie’s idea. I read it in one of her biographies. SHE wanted a ‘control’ of the images; and she thought of it, the story goes, on the spot, and pushed young JohnJohn forward.

The teary eyed, political stump speech from an obviously greiving 12 year old is shameful. Almost like young Teddy was being ‘groomed’ to go into the family business...politics.
