I frequent this board, the Ron Paul forums, the huck forums and planetromney and just recently I’ve seen some people complaining. I do not want to cause any trouble here because I think this site can be a great force to spread conservatism.

If anyone thinks I’ve only been to this site since I started posting a few days ago, that would be wrong. I’m a political junkie, and a lot of times I just like to see what other people are saying.

I’m dissappointed that some people are calling for me to be banned though. I mean no one any harm, and simply asked a question that I hope wasn’t true.

If you're sincere then you have terrible timing as the forum has been under attack and FRiendliness to Noobs is extremely limited.

You might try posting a bit more today, telling your story, or just wait a couple days (or months) before posting what turns out to be a poorly timed and/or suspect thread. Lurk, respond and post your own new threads after you've learned more about the community.

You're digging your own hole, I'm afraid. If that were true and you did "frequent this board," then you'd know people don't get banned for the candidates they do or don't support, but for being ugly, vicious asshats who make personal attacks based on pure emotion. Therefore, your original post tends to make FReepers like me think that either you're not well-read at all on Free Republic and are either lying about it or grossly overestimate your espertise of FR -- or that you are deliberately fishing for negative reaction for whatever purpose you may have.

Then again, the RED FLAG was waved in your original post where you vaguely talk about "a new slogan making the rounds," and yet refrain from saying WHICH rounds, and fail to say WHO is spreading the word. You're talking about what's being said around your water cooler ... but don't tell where your water cooler is.

You smell pretty fishy to me, dear.
