The comment that she would support conservatives in either party in election may well have prompted this comment.

I don’t understand where all of this talk of a third party is coming from.

It's coming from anti-Palin clowns whose lips are firmly entrenched on the groins of Republican Party hacks.

I think the Republican leadership (if you want to call it that) are terrified of 2 things:

(1) Sarah Palin’s ability to connect to the core voters of America. The heartland, the veterans, the small businessmen, the builders of the country, as opposed to the takers.

(2) They are more afraid she can unify this segment, not just her leadership as per direction, but put together a voluntary coalition of people who know how to do things. Release the ability this nation has always shown to do great things, without top down direction.

Central planning ALWAYS Fails. It always will. Joint effort of honest hardworking people always gives far better results.

If you cannot contribute at least get out of the way.

This is what they fear. And they should.

If she stays outside, the insiders will be free to pursue their own objectives behind Palin's banner.

What exactly would she gain by joining forces with the RNC?

Sarah has been hacked. If they can't beat her, they are going to try to split her off.

I think she’s a movement conservative and, as such, wants to lead a movement, like Reagan did.

Yup.

What they are afraid of is that Sarah Palin is the female John Galt or the real version of Dagny Taggart.

One of the first priorities should be to close the Republican primaries in all states and let the states with the strongest support (as shown by the results of the most recent presidential election) have the first primaries and caucuses. Reward good behavior.

For the record, I’m in California and not a registered Republican so I have nothing to gain from that plan.

And I’ll re-register as a Republican if they learn how to treat Governor Palin with the respect and dignity she deserves.

She’s been vetted more than any candidate in history, even more so after having lost the race.
Having survived everything they’ve thrown at her, they won’t win...don’t they know that?

Maybe that’s why they are called the Stoopid party.

I wasn't talking about the "Stoopid Party".

Well, she is a Republican. As the RNC Chairwoman, what she speaks, the party will speak as Sarah Palin.

Now, true, for people like Steele, who doesn't have a national following, he is basically a mouthpiece for the corporate elite of the party. But in the case of Sarah Palin, when she becomes an official of the party, the party will speak as Sarah Palin. It's the difference between a leader and a follower.

You are wrong. They are afraid she is going to be controlling all the money that conservatives are going to donate to her PAC rather than the RNC.
