Los Angeles, CA (AP) -- A state assemblyman who was reprimanded by fellow Republicans for supporting a state budget package that included tax increases has resigned a local party leadership position.
Assemblyman Anthony Adams of Hesperia told The Associated Press on Friday that he is resigning as chairman of the San Bernardino County Republican Party.

Wait, so I think I get it now. You have to be IN CHARGE of the IRS for the rules to no longer apply to you. Is that right?
At least some Republicans somewhere are exercising Party discipline.
I defended some of these guys in a previous FR post as doing what needed to be done. Then I read that most state agencies actually ADDED staff during this debacle. I felt very, very dumb.
