Sinise is co founder of Steppenwolf. Genius. Great actor. Gary really stretches when he plays the heavy roles (remember Ransom). I concur with another poster, why would he want to associate with the most dangerous aspects of the world’s oldest profession?
I LIKE Gary Sinise ... I wouldn’t wish anything bad for him .. and that includes POLITICS.. LOL
I think Gary lives in Los Angeles, possibly Hidden Hills, so he doesn’t really qualify for the Illinois Senate. Maybe he can boot Henry Waxman out of office! that would be awesome.
He obviously doesn’t qualify for a career in Hollywood either, as is evidenced by the fact that he’s a Republican, and, what’s even worse, has been married to the same woman since 1981.

If they let us know ...we’d never KNOW them. Ones career in Hollywierd (or NYC) can be destroyed before it begins. It’s disgusting, but it’s true.

You summed up exactly what I’ve been saying. I’ve always thought Sinise was a sleazeball until I began to hear about his politics and work for our troops.
Have you ever seen his portrayal of Harry Truman in the HBO Pictures version of “Truman”?
My god, it’s uncannily stunning as he has the mannerisms and inflections of Truman down to a perfect T.
Even before I knew of his work for the troops, I thought “Sinise should have been nominated for an Academy Award for that role”.
