Thanks, Corporate News! (PUMAs say thanks for trashing Sarah Palin)
Savage Politics ^ | August 30th, 2008 | The Editor

The Corporate Mainstream Media has just received word that they have ANOTHER gang-rape to attend. Just when they thought that they could take a break from their rampant bias, sexism and utter contempt for the concept of journalistic integrity, John McCain has given them another woman to deal with: Sarah Palin.

Yesterday, the ‘New Democrats’ didn’t even know what to do with themselves. They were utterly stunned at the fact that they had just been outplayed and outmaneuvered by the Republicans (AGAIN!) by placing the only candidate with Executive experience on both tickets, and who “just happens” to be a woman.

In a silly stupor, they immediately began their rabid work to somehow discredit her as best they could, slowly understanding that the best they could do was to somehow besmirch the event in the minds of the impressionable and disturbed fools who actually watch their slanted programing.

First, they had the AUDACITY to question Palin’s experience, an almost laughable tactic, considering that their own HEADLINER has even less experience than her (and she is NOT the headliner of the ticket!). As a former mayor, council-woman, Ethics Commissioner of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, and current Governor of Alaska (Commander in Chief of the Alaska National Guard), her background is A LOT more sophisticated than the one Obama pathetically tries to boast about, and is actually filled with CONCRETE achievements in the realms of fighting both corruption and special interests. She has a record that can actually be contrasted against both Rezko and Biden’s own son, who “just so happens” to be a powerful lobbyist in Washington.

Of course, the silliest aspect regarding all of this, is the fact that even McCain’s VP (who is younger than Obama) is better prepared to be President (in every sense of the word) than the Democratic Party’s Presidential candidate!

Isn’t it fun to consider the fact that McCain’s pick of Sarah Palin “OUT WORKING CLASSED” Obama’s pick of Joe Biden!?! Unlike both Democratic contenders, she is actually a member of that bitter ‘White Working Class”, she also has a son in Iraq (just like McCain!), her husband is a commercial fisherman (and works in the oil fields), and she grew up in a small town in Alaska. No matter how much these two Liberal Fruit Loops (Obama and Biden) try, they will not be able to beat a War Hero and a Frontier Working Class woman in the battleground states of Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.

Because of all of these facts, and after the stupid inexperience argument was slowly mocked by most reasonable human beings as a silly attempt to (as my grandmother used to say) “have a Cod tell a Salmon that he is a stinky fish”, they are all now attempting to stain her selection, by claiming that she is now being investigated by the Alaska legislature for “abuse of power”.

Here is the basic background on the case (wikipedia):

On July 11, 2008, Palin dismissed Public Safety Commissioner Walter Monegan for not adequately filling state trooper vacancies, and because he “did not turn out to be a team player on budgeting issues.”[57] She instead offered him a position as executive director of the state Alcoholic Beverage Control Board, which he turned down.[58][59]

Her power to fire him is not in dispute, but Monegan alleged that his dismissal may have been an abuse of power tied to his reluctance to fire Palin’s former brother-in-law, Alaska State Trooper Mike Wooten, who had been involved in a divorce and child custody battle with Palin’s sister, Molly McCann.[60] Palin is currently being investigated by an independent investigator hired by the Alaska Legislature[61] to determine whether she abused her power when she fired Monegan.

But what the Corporate and CORRUPT Mainstream Media has not informed you is that she is yet to be found responsible of ANY wrongdoing. Nor do they tell you that the legislature is notoriously angry with her because she cracked down on her own party’s corruption in Alaska, actually removing the sleazy Republican Governor of that State with her own electoral victory.

But even if we were to assume, for the sake of argument, that she did in fact act “inappropriately” by using her power to get her ex brother-in-law fired, the Media has not provided any context to the situation, a fact that will eventually misfire if they dare bring it up in a debate. Mike Wooten, her ex brother-in-law (the man in question), was actually suspended during the same controversial period for using a Taser Gun against his own 11 year old son! He is also a well known wife abuser, who has allegedly beat Palin’s sister to a pulp in numerous occasions. This man, who as you may all guess is not ‘well liked’ by most people in his town, has also been rumored to have continuously and publicly threatened Palin’s family with grave bodily injury (even describing how the hollow point bullets would act on their flesh), among many other nasty things.

The question then is: If you were Governor yourself, and you did not pull EVERY STRING POSSIBLE to get a man of this low caliber AWAY from your nephew and sister, before it was too late (as is always the case with these type of abusive men), wouldn’t THAT in fact be irresponsible on your part? In other words, I would much prefer to be “investigated” by a corrupt legislature for protecting my family, than allowing this abuse to continue, irrespective of the ‘political consequences’. This story, when it comes out in full, will actually give her extra points with most women during a debate, which is why I actually HOPE that they bring it up.

Of course, and as we all know, the Mainstream Media doesn’t care about the truth. They have already allowed Barack Hussein Obama to get away with funding terrorist organizations who support suicide bombing, like the one that his friend Mr. Khalidi operates, without ever commissioning a single report on the subject. They also continuously allow Obama to LIE his way through the nomination of his party (promising one thing and then promising the opposite) without a single criticism, while they bashed Hillary Clinton for every single ‘gaffe’ and/or ‘inappropriate’ event in her past. To them, anything that has to do with Mr. Soetoro’s sleaze has NO CONTEXT and NO STORY whatsoever.

Let’s be VERY CLEAR, since the Media is not. Obama IS NOT qualified to be ON ANY STRATA of a Presidential ticket. This is not only because of his lack of experience, a fact that not even his own party can dispute, but because he is CORRUPT and FIRMLY affiliated with the worst elements of America Hating ideologues.

Sarah Palin, with all of her youth and “inexperience”, by far surpasses Mr. Obama in character, honor and CONCRETE achievements. Ironically for them, she is actually outshining him FROM THE BOTTOM of a Presidential ticket!

McCain’s pick of Mrs. Palin finally gives us the opportunity to once again fight the rampant double standard and sexism that the Mainstream Media loves to exercise when they feel threatened of losing their power. Except this time, we have the added bonus of being able to definitely have her win the White House with a LARGE margin, and with it send a clear message to the DNC and their cronies that they better think twice before they prefer putting a unqualified man before a fully qualified female.

We are FINALLY able to make this one right, and openly battle CNN, ABC, FoxNews and MSNBC, every time they make a SEXIST case against Sarah Palin. Every time they play the “inexperience” card, we must throw it back in their face with Obama’s own pathetic resume.

Ironically, most of you can already point out a few clear achievements of Sarah Palin, even without knowing much about her, while most Obama surrogates, including Mr. Dukakis, are utterly unable to pin point a SINGLE achievement by Barack Obama.

So please, get ready, because the Media’s motors are starting up again, and you will now hear EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEIR PUNDITS come up with very creative ways of arguing that this new woman is “no good”, “needs more time with her ’special needs’ child”, “she reminds them of their nagging ex wives”, etc.

Will we allow this same nonsense to happen again? Or will ALL of Hillary Clinton’s supporters, irrespective of the SUPPOSED platform agreements that they may share with the DNC, take a stand and finally support a strong woman for an executive position? Do any of you really think that 95% of the African American population who is now supporting Obama GIVES A DAMN about his “political proposals”? Do you think that the DNC is using their support to get to the White House out of their love of “racial equality”? Isn’t it time to have women show their power by putting their ballots behind a woman, even if only by 51%?

I ask, because while the Democratic Party aims to appeal to the “logic” and “reasonableness” of women, just to get their vote away from McCain-Palin, they are all too happy to appeal to the RACIST sentiments of Black people, simply to get them to vote for their candidate. Should we continue to allow this DOUBLE STANDARD?

So I say THANKS, but NO THANKS, CORPORATE NEWS! We will show you a trick or two about strength in numbers! We will show you how an election looks like when you get the majority of the people sick and tired of your manipulation and bias.

In November, we will give McCain and Palin a nice surprise, helping them achieve a LANDSLIDE VICTORY for their ticket and, simultaneously, we will provide the Media a COMPLETE DESTRUCTION of their two unprepared candidates.

The media is trying to inflate this latest version of a “Trooper-gate” into something akin to the Whitehouse Travel Office imbroglio, or the firing of all-but-one US Attorney’s (both Clinton doings). Oh, wait, the MSM said that that was no big deal!

I don’t like throwing mud at the Palins, but it should not be called “gang-rape”.

This proves that the left is scared of Palin. If Mccain has got a lightweight, the left would be happy and not worry about her, but the opposite has occurred and they are scared

Yep! This sudden manufactured poll shift yesterday is a set up for the pre-written headlines that will say McCain convention bounce evens things up again. When we all know Obama got little or no bounce from his over-priced convention, and McCain is ahead on many polls right now, especially in the important swing states and from Independent voters.

Someone said something similar on FR already.

Who will bring change to DC? A soldier and a mom or a couple of lawyers?

All things considered, I’d say that analogy is entirely appropriate. Disgusting rumors, wall-to-wall coverage of her daughter’s pregnancy, reporting on her husband’s DUI from 24 years ago, reporting partial stories to get the maximum negative impact (ie “Troopergate”) ... the list goes on. The MSM has thrown away any pretense of impartiality and credibility to get Obama elected and in doing so, has gone after the Palin family in a throughly biased and disturbing way.

After the convention I think Steve Schmidt of the McCain campaign, the RNC and friendly 527’s need to go after Obambi with the hardest hitting tv ads ever made on the following:

1) Ayers
2) Rezko
3) Bidens’s plagiarism past and the fact that his brother and son are in big legal trouble
4) Wright
5) The messiah’s plans to gut the military
6) the media’s outrareous bias against Palin and her family
7) Daily Kos
8) And, if it exists, pull out the “Whitey” DVD with Michelle

If Obambi/Axelrod/MSM want politcal war, fine, let’s give them what they want and kick their collective a$$es.

Same mentality and a far kinder description of the MSM than they use on Conservative Christians . . .

Well, this cinches it for me. Two weeks ago I would have laughed at anyone saying I would vote for McCain. If the MSM is going all out to destroy Palin, it means she is worth supporting.

So what they are going to try to do is make you scared of me,” Palin warned, “You know she's not pro choice enough. Her kids have funny names. You know, she doesn't look like all of those other vice presidents on the dollar bills. Did I mention, she's a woman.” Photobucket

Why Not? Have you listened to the commentary over the last few days? It is said of rape that it is a crime of violence more than a crime of sex. It is a crime of depriving power from the person being attacked. Given the level of discourse I've seen, the tactic can only be called what it is - rape.

If ANY Republican ever suggested some of the things the media, the DNC, and their surrogates are stating as fact about Gov. Palin, they would be run out of town on a rail. The level (low) or discourse regarding the selection of Palin as our VP choice indicates to me just how afraid the dims are of her selection.

That they would stoop as low as I've seen is simply beyond the pale...

To: Logical me
I haven't been here for a while, but I have been very active in previous years.

If I may add in just a little thought.... I am betting the author of Reply #3 meant nothing other than requesting a different use of words. While the use of words 'gang rape' may very well define the abuse the liberal individuals are perpetrating towards first Hillary and now to Governor Palin, anyone who has been personally raped, physically raped, or has had a loved one who has been raped will experience a different feeling inside than some others who can see this is obviously similar in many ways but who did not experience an actual gang rape, or even just rape first hand.

The sexism we are seeing from some of the liberal courts is much like that of the worst criminal element who belittle and berate women when they have the power and have the chance to do so. I think most of us can identify with that, probably even poster number 3 there!

However, just as we are reminded in everyday life to have sensitivity in our words and actions (I have told my kids that for 23 years now, far before it was PC), poster # 3's reponse was probably just a matter of an uncomfortable reminder of something that, while it may have the same roots and effect, may be a painful reminder to a personal situation that never made it to the public light on any national scale.

You are right Logical me, that what we see could be described as a gang rape. However, let's have the other side be insensitive, doing their abusive and offensive-to-women actions, and let's let OUR side show how much respect conservatives really do have for us women. You did not show any insensitivity, Logical me. I just wanted you all to be reminded of how long lasting the effects of actual rapes are. Sometimes even just words that seem to fit may mean something more than you would ever know.

Thanks,
casinva
