I’d prefer Palin, but it’s Pawlenty. He’s satisfactory.

Looks like my choices would be Mitt first, Sara second and Pawlenty last because of his stand on global warming.

REASON #2: PALIN SUPPORTS TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE, BUT DEFENDS GAY RIGHTS Palin supports the traditional definition of marriage, and opposes same-sex marriage. Unlike many conservatives, however, she is sensitive to gay concerns about discrimination. Palin’s is the first administration in Alaska’s history, to provide benefits to the partners of gay and lesbian employees.

NEXT!

Reason #11: she's younger than me, and easy on the eyes. Cheney might rule the world with an iron fist, but he looks lousy in a low-cut dress. LOL

I’m sorry, but if John McCain were to die a few months into his presidency - I don’t think Palin would be ready to step into the oval office. I think a VP should be someone who is qualified to be President RIGHT NOW.

The future may be bright for Gov. Palin - but I just don’t think she’s ready for this right now.

Reasons one through ten is that she’s a woman, and too many want to play the gender card or the race card if it’s available.

And here is the one overwhelming reason why Sarah Palin is NOT ready for prime time, and has no business being on a national ticket this election cycle:

- absolutely NO national security experience or expertise.

America is at war with Islamofascist terrorism, and faces the possibility of a renewed Cold War with Moscow.

Any Vice President needs to be able to step up to Commander-in-Chief at a moment's notice, without needing training wheels. Having a son in the Army, while admirable, does not qualify as 'national security experience'.

Nice try, but no cigar and welcome to FR. We now return you to our regularly scheduled reality.

"....Unlike many conservatives, however, she is sensitive to gay concerns about discrimination. Palin’s is the first administration in Alaska’s history, to provide benefits to the partners of gay and lesbian employees. " This is trying to have it both ways. She is going to end up pissing off both conservatives for her liberal compromises, and libs/gays for her refusing to go the whole nine yards for them on homo marriage. She ought to just stake out a principled position and keep it, rather than standing in the middle.

Standing in the middle is the essence of RINOism.
